Frustrations, The Mornings After, A Call From Nowhere

”Mom?” I utter softly, pulling her out of her reverie. ”Is everything alright? I mean, upon the whole.”
Slowly the solemn muscles in her face melt. She bends down toward me, takes my head in between her hands and places a sonorous kiss on the top of it. ”I’m worried about you, that’s all.”
Liar.
But whatever.
I sigh and recline, sinking further into the chair. ”I had such a weird dream, you know,” I begin with a slight frown. ”First, it was so beautiful and I felt so happy. But in the end, after I saw this girl…and I kept chasing her and calling out her name over and over, but she was running away from me and it was so…frustrating, you know. And then I saw how my heart was splitting into two parts. It was all so vivid. And felt so painful…but not in the physical kind of way, more like, in mental…emotional kind of way,” I ramble as if I’m talking to myself.
My mother watches me in contemplation, presumably waiting for me to continue or ask her some sort of an advice. And when I am about to do just that, she cuts me off, ”So who’s that girl?”
I shrug. ”I have no idea.”
She raises her eyebrow. ”But you just said that you were calling out her name?”
”Yeah, but I have no idea what name I was calling out… You know what I mean? That’s so weird…” I mumble the last sentence, rubbing my chin thoughtfully.
”What did she look like? Someone you know or met?”
”Well… Maybe, I have a hunch, considering the way she was dressed…” I make a pause, trying to recall all the details.
”And?”
”That girl with dogs I told you about yesterday. That was definitely her. She was dressed in those ragged jeans and white T-shirt, the same clothes she was wearing both times I had an encounter with her.”
”Wait a minute, both times? I don’t understand. Have you met her before?”
I nod. ”I have. And since then she keeps reappearing in my life and in my head over and over and over again.”
Mother lets out a somehow resigned sigh and pushes herself off my desk. ”Take a look at the work of Leigh Ostin,” she points at the magazine on my desk. ”Quite extraordinary, may I say.”

Hey Valerie:
Happy night for me, reading your precious updated chapter, I love this story, Bette so vain, full of herself, irresponsible, selfish and flighty at the point of being comic, but at the same time so lonely, sad and vulnerable. I think her dream is a premonition of what her future with Tina could be if she doesn’t change; I hope the blonde could help her to grow up. Thank you so much for the wonderful update, and for the long chapter, I know is hard to update quickly but this story is worthy to wait for; please post soon.

Hey Valerie, qua comment proteonomics said it all, i agree with her.
Thank you for making the time to update! It can’t be that easy for you and for that i will wait patiently for your updates! You put a lot effort in this amazing story and i deeply respect you for that.
BED and BREAKFAST(not)BETTE,when will she learn to keep that zipper closed?,probably never since she ishaving the time of her life playing with every woman she meets except for TINA who doesn’t care for her high handed ways it seems.Gonna take more than lunch to tame this one.THANKS,ps
Hi Valerie !
Money can not buy love or happiness, but it certainly gives that power to Bette find more partners for their sexual adventures … is pleasure; It is fast and momentary. But is not happiness or amor.No background Bette is an unhappy woman.
I think Bette need a more real life, more intense. Happiness can be the most simple things in life. And Tina is the key to happiness.
All Stars .
Bear hug.
Note: excuse my English.
I know how you feel about the language difficulty.
I for example, a more detailed comments, spent around forty or more minutes to make my text a little understandable.
Love it can’t wait for Tina to get Bette centered and undercontrol. Before she spirals down to far.
Thank you for this long awaited new Chapter.
Looking forward to future Chapters with Tina having a great influence of this selfish Bette.
I hope the next Chapter will feature Bette and Tina together face to face.
Again thanks and please Post soon.
Read this when first posted, forgot to leave comment. Really like this story. Bette is just too selfish and self centered for words and is a bit of a bully. Somehow I think she is about to have a most surprising encounter of her young life. Tina will be the catalyst that will forge changes in the very self centered heiress, La Bette Porter. Thanks for posting.
Come on Valerie, Can’t wait for the next offering!!
Over a year now and still waiting on an up date, Please, please
