    God Knows Chptr. 1

Bette knew that was her cue to get up and leave as well, she looked to Tina’s plate and was a just a tiny bit grateful that she’d eaten her entire sandwich. She looked over to Teresa who sat there in her chair staring straight ahead, waiting to be addressed. Bette didn’t know how to talk to this woman, she knew that Tina hated for them to be alone together and for good reason. Teresa was never comfortable with Tina being a lesbian and she certainly never approved of Bette being Tina’s PR rep and girlfriend. There was a business line that should have been drawn before the two ever thought about evolving their weekend long “Fuck Marathons” into a hidden relationship.
Bette smiled at her and said, “Teresa.”

Her response was to simply put back on her sunglasses, and sit back as she picked up her glass. The woman was unflappable in every way, not even a slight embarrassment from her daughter could make her rise to Tina’s level. Bette walked out and met Tina by the valet line with a couple of other patrons, her sunglasses were on and her arms were folded tightly across her chest. Once their car arrived she practically threw the tip at the valet as she slammed her door getting into the passenger seat.

Bette felt nothing but disappointment, she’d arranged to have a babysitter for the night so she could spend some time talking with Tina and this little power struggle between mother and daughter was sure to put a blanket on her plans. Tina sat in the passenger seat letting her mind run through the day. They’d even hit traffic and she hadn’t noticed, because of the conversation with her therapist was ringing in her mind.

Everything he said was correct, she was guarded to a point with people, she did have a story to tell, and there was this invisible “code of honor” to blood that prevented her from telling the world her story. She just didn’t know why after all these years of protecting that life from the outside world, why now was it pressing so hard to get to the light. She’d done nothing different from her previous years, she knew the consequences of telling her truth and the repercussions it could have on her and the family name. She really had no desire to trash her parents or her upbringing, she’d seen it done one too many times before. People knew about the Hollywood monster that “raised” the children of movie stars. All of those things were true but the core of it all was that she would always feel this way until she got it out of her system.

    1. Welcome back Nettababy03!

I have read your previous stories more than once and really Loved them.
So when i logged in and saw you had posted i was really happy.

It seems that in this story Tina is really messed up due to the violence and abuse that happened in her parents relationship and affected her childhood and adult life. And that she is now in a place where she learns to handle her past and her addictions like alcohol?

I am ready to follow your and Tina’s story. And ofcourse Bette and Angie.

      Thanks

    2. Welcome back

Very nice and promising story. I like the portray of Tina fighting her demons from her past with her parents, I like the way Bette takes care of her, the way both complement each other, at least until this point; I feel sorry for the pain Tina is going through and the writer’s block she is suffering, I’m eager to read what happened during her childhood and how she will overcome that and also, how Bette became her wife as indicated in the first part of the chapter. Thank for this story and pps.

    3. Amazing and very interesting start. Bad child hoods and very bad parents are sometimes hard to grow. out of. but she does have Bette watching out for her and loving her even if she doesn’t know Tina’s whole story and neither do we….Yet!..look forward to more Thank you BnT.

    4. Welcome back .
A family with emotional problems, and it seems to me that it affected a lot Tina, where she seeks relief in the drink. And Bette is the only good part of Tina’s life. .
      Great start.
      All Stars .
