    She shook her head, I promise.

    The nurse signalled that my time was up. Tina begged for a few minutes. She has the same effect on everyone. They complied without any resistance.

    Angelica? How is she?

    Awww she is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. She has your eyes. And the cutest nose. I wish you could have seen her. Sasha told me though that you could go down to your room later today. And if Dr. Wilson says its ok we can go home tomorrow if not the day after.

    Ummmm I hate to interrupt, but Tina needs her rest.

    I looked at Tina. I didnt want to leave her but I had to. I kissed her and stood up with much hesitance. Ill see you soon ok?

    I left ICU feeling a lot better. I strolled pass the nursery again on my way down. I watched as she slept. Then my stomach apparently had other plans because it started growling like forty bears. Then I realised that the last time I ate was yesterday morning before the service. Wow how time flew by. I decided to go to the caf to get a bite.

    ***Tina***

    I felt it when Bette sat beside me. She smelt so good. Fresh, clean. I love the smell of her just out of the shower. She held my hand, but I didnt have the strength then to return the grip. She started talking. I know she was just thinking aloud but I heard everything. We never talked about the affair and what caused us to drift apart like we did. But as I see it its a new beginning and I know that Bette is truly sorry. She cried and I held her. I didnt think that dwelling on what she had done would have helped any. So I let her cry. She needed that cleansing. We needed it. I didnt get to see our baby. Angelica. Before yesterday I had no idea what I was going to call her. We never really discussed names. But it was the first thing that came to me as I was drifting off. My angel. Our gift from God. When I asked Bette about her, she got the biggest smile on her face. She didnt notice but my heart melted when she smiled at me. She still has that effect on me.

    When the nurse came in and told her that time was up, before she got up I was missing her already. I could tell she felt the same way because she hesitated a bit before she stood up. She kissed me goodbye. I know where she is heading though. Back to the nursery. And I if I know my wife well enough I bet she hasnt had a meal since yesterday.
