                                                    It may be over…

     

                They met at The Planet as they often did over the past several months to exchange Angelica.  Tina walked in and saw them immediately.  The crowd as always surrounded them.  It used to be that the crowd surrounded Bette but that had swelled to include Angelica.   There was something about the duo that seemed to intensify the throng of wanna be’s.  Bette was as usual oblivious to the admiring glances or seemed to be.  Tina wondered why Bette was not dating.  The West Hollywood community was too small and Bette to big not to be the topic of gossip should she decide to date anyone.  When they were together Tina had not realized what a catch she had.  She had been secure in the knowledge that Bette loved her and never really paid too much attention to the longing glances that she often saw when she was out with Bette.  Lately she has begun to wonder when Bette would return the attentions that were directed her way. 

     

                Tina found that being alone and celibate was what she needed for now. Tina had her share of offers both male and female but she politely declined them.  While Peggy had cut Helena off Tina was promoted and now held the top chair at Shalom Studios.

    At first she had been hesitant to step into Helena’s shoes but Peggy was a skilled negotiator and argued that the first chair actually was less stressful than the position that Tina currently held.  Tina got to make all the important decisions without actually having to make them happen herself.  She left the office each day by 3pm at the latest and often did not need to be in the office at all.  She had a great team that she had hand picked. They were a competent crew.   The money was phenomenal and she now made more money than she knew what to do with. She began to save money and her account balances were reaching proportions that rivaled Bette’s earlier in their relationship.

     

                She rented a small house near Bette’s so that they were within walking distance of one another for Angelica’s sake.  They hardly ever walked the distance between their houses instead favored meeting in neutral places, as they did today like The Planet.

    1. Aw man you stopped there? This is good. Why is Tina fighting it? And when Bette does get the hint and try to move on she will lose her mind with jealousy…please post soon.

    3. Dang it, when are they both going to realize that there is nobody out there that can love her the way that they both do. Bette definitely would take Tina back in a heart beat. I get the impression that Tina is trying to make sure that she is really ready to get back with Bette if that is the road that she takes (at least I hope so).

    7. “Once Angelica discovered French fries through Alice she refused to eat any other food unless she also got fries… ” LOL, that was a very cute touch.

    10. Maybe Tina will realize they belong back together, and make a statement at the hearing. You know if things get tough. They belong together we know that, how come no one else sees that. IC we mean you.

    11. Great post and excellent flow. I agree in the quest for answers…LOL. Tina is teasing. Bette is losing it slowly and well, Angie is cute. LOL. I’d love to see more of this story. PPS ;)
