“Thank You.”
Bette then turns her gaze to
the floor and walks back to her office.
“I believe she is
interested.”
said out of nowhere.
“What?”
“She is. She is interested lately in everything you do
I mean, I am your best friend and I don’t even care if you are spending all
your time with Miss Fairbanks, the time that was originally reserved for me,
for us to doing girly things.”
“I’m sorry Al, lately it
just feels like everyone wants a piece of me.”
“They do.”
“But I can’t believe Bette
would, she hates me I think she really really hates me.”
“No silly, she really really likes you. I think she just doesn’t know it yet. She’s trying to find out ways to piss you
off, but its because she is not acknowledging, at least consciously your
existence as more of an employee. It’s
actually quite amusing to watch.”
“Well I am glad you are
having a grand time have you been eavesdropping on our conversations?”
“I can’t help it, you sit
like right here, we might as well share a cubicle and besides I got
journalistic/detective instincts.”
Tina raises her eyebrow in
question, “okay what makes you so sure that she is interested in me? What is the defining factor?”
“Who cares what the defining
factor is! The most important question
is, are you interested in her? Because
if you are not; we can go walk in her office right now and confront her on
being an ass and maybe even pass some discrimination charges on being difficult
with the cuties in the office.”
“You’re not serious?”
“Well are you interested or
not?”
“I don’t know I am
interested interested to see if she is interested in me.”
“Hmmm okay, what if we
devise a plan, a simple plan to test the water, don’t worry, just do as I say,
when I say and super-sleuth Alice will take care of it.”
“Okay, now I’m really
worried…” Tina exclaims.
“Alright Tina, it is all
set!” Alice said to Tina over the phone, “Don’t ask how, but I got Bette to
agree to come out this Saturday, to that new lesbian club you be ready at 8:30
and I will pick you up, dress sexy.”

Girl, great chapter.. Repeat after me, *Season 3 is a bad nightmare, Season 3 is a bad nightmare* don’t let it stop your writing or change your story, . I love the play between B&T. The only way we seem to have them happy is here. And god forbid if everyone stops writing happy ones, I will have to try writing again.. Keep up the great work!!

JFreeze, I do read the happy fanfic chapters sparingly so that I can make it through the week after the dismal episodes on Sundays. I am praying that Tina will rediscover a little thing called compassion and apply it to Bette. Soooooo, please keep up your writing. This story is just what us disgruntled TiBetters need.
I’m normally not a fan of fighting (though you wouldn’t know it from my comments on other stories), but just once I want to see Bette kick someone’s ass on the show like she did here. Alice is right. Bette is being an asshole because she actually likes Tina, even if Bette doesn’t realize it yet. I’m curious to see if Bette will stay the night next to Tina and if Tina will freak out in the morning. Then they can start to fall in love and have hot office sex.
