Sitting there I pick at my food the worry not leaving me. Checking my phone it still shows no messages from Al. I look up at Shane “She still hasn’t text me back Shane I’m getting really worried.”
“She might be busy, especially if she going to see her mom.” Shane sighed. “Listened I’m worried too, you said yourself she hasn’t been herself since this afternoon.”
I look at her for a second. “You know what’s wrong don’t you?
She looks at me and sighs again. “Right the only reason I’m telling you this is because I’m worried about her ok I’m not getting involved in your business.”
I begin to get impatient in my need to know what’s wrong with Alice. “I know that Shane you don’t have to worry now will you please just tell me so I know weather I’m worrying for nothing or not!”
“Ok earlier on just before you came into the kitchen and Al was off with you Derek rang her telling her he was coming to see her.”
My heart seems to stop when I hear Shane say those words. “The one that hurt her? The one that broke her heart? The one she could still possibly be in love with?” I step back leaning against the small garden wall.
Shane steps closer glancing over to check the girls are occupied. Looking back she stands by me. “Dane, listen to me I have never seen Alice look at anyone, not even Derek the way she looks at you.” She lights up another cigarette taking a long slow drag. “I will come with you to check if she’s ok if that is gunna make you feel better, I know it would put my mind to rest.” Shane smiles at reassuringly.
Smiling back I push back any negative thoughts, “Would you do that for me?”
“Of course I would, come on lets go.” Shane smiles at me again before walking off to tell the girls an excuse.
Alice’s Point Of View:
“Derek please!” I try to get free from his grip as his hand roam over my body, I close my eyes tightly. “You don’t have to do this.”

Wow, just in the nick of time. Thank you for bringing D & S over quickly to stop the attack. Derek would most likely be back for his second round. I think adult intervention is called for. Derek needed to be arrested for attempted rape. Lenore needed to be around. Poor A, she simply could not handle this mess alone. I am concerned about Sharon discovering D spending all her time with A. It would not be good if Sharon ever found out A’s story. Would she restraint D from seeing A? I will patiently wait for this story to unfold. Love that D being there to take care of A though. Excellent work again SummerBreeze and thank you!
Derek needs his ass beat. I think Shane and Dana should shoot the jerk. Poor Alice. At least Dane and Shane showed up just in the nick of time woot. Summerbreeze I love this story. Two updated in one weekend is awesome
Woo hoo!! So glad you plan to continue. And thanks so much for not leaving us hanging too long. Derek needs to spend some time in jail and make a few “special friends” in there. Good for Al to give him a swift kick in the nuts. Hopefully it will neuter him. I am so impressed that Dana had the foresight to call her mom and let her know she would be late so she could stay with Alice. I hope they consider calling the cops on him. haha I agree with Haruka shoot the jerk. That was the first thing that popped into my mind. Violence much? Maybe Dana can do it, and then her dad can get her charges dropped….
UGH! Dana just needs to ram a f*cking tennis ball in his mouth and beat him senseless with a freaking sledge hammer or soemthing, WTH! Ok moving on, most of what i wanted to say has already been covered and i have to agree..2 updates in one weekend is sh*tHoT, thanks so much for another excellent update, lok forward to more. So, no Dana for me, after all… lol. I was a little harsh on Al, I should have known she would come around. Glad she didn’t kiss that jerk, but what followed made me sick. Hope he doesn’t get the chance to do it again. The “I love you”s and “Anything for you baby” were so sweet, almost made me forget about the ugly part. Thanks a lot for deciding to continue!
