Hot Stuff
Since Bette and Tina had two incredibly major projects going on at the same time they decided it was best if Tina handled the sale of the condo while Bette handled getting the quotes for the beachfront property renovations. They worked independently but kept each other in the loop with their progress.
Bette had gotten a few bids. She was happy with the price from Design Ventures but they couldn’t meet her time-frame. She was now meeting with Candace Jewel and Yolanda Watkins from Jewels & Watkins Architectural Design Group in Kit’s office at the Planet.
“I have the estimate for you.” Bette looks over the paperwork and glances up at Candace.
“This is $5,000 more than the highest bidder.”
“May I?” Candace takes a pad and pen from Kit’s desk and draws a triangle and shows it to Bette.
“There are three sides to the triangle. Fast, Cheap, Good. You can have two of three in combination but never all three.”
“Of course you can. If you have enough money… Oh right then it wouldn’t be cheap.”
“You can have fast and good but that takes a big crew of highly skilled highly paid workers. You can have fast and cheap…”
“but then the end product will probably look like shit.”
“You can have cheap and good…”
“that’s the one I want.”
“But you’ll probably be bumping up against that carpenter for the better part of a year.”
Candace says “bumping up” suggestively as if to imply a double meaning. Bette is all business and ignores her as she’s done every time Candace does this which is increasing in frequency.
“I want cheap and good but I don’t have a year otherwise I would go with Design Ventures. Why is your estimate so much higher when we are looking at comparable design and material?”
“Would you mind if we get something to eat? I can draw up some rough sketches of what I’m thinking while we eat.”
“Sure. I’ll just ask Kit to prepare something for us. What would you like?”
“I’m not sure what I want. I’ll go get a menu. I’ll be right back.” Yolanda leaves Candace and Bette alone in the office while she gets the menu. Bette’s cell phone rings and she answers; it’s Tina.

Whoa, Bette really gave it to her. Loved it, thanks
Enjoyed it? I most certainly did, way to go BAT :)
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT POST
Too bad the show didn’t go this way. Bette is certainly clear of her intentions of not being disloyal to Tina. They have mutual love and respect for each other. Excellent chapter that was substantive. Can’t wait for more.
Wow, way to go Bette and Yolanda. You both kicked that stupid bitch her ass!
Love the update! thanks.
Fantastic chapter, thank you for letting Bette and Yolanda tell her off and kick her behind to the curb. She is as bad as some scurvy assed men that have no respect for women nor themselves. IC should have done the same thing rather than pandering to the male viewers, and the male suits with the network. There were so many avenues they could have taken and the show would have been fine and could have run longer. Rant over. Thanks for posting. Love your very frequent posts.
GM! This week has kicked my ass! I passed out again and now its time to do it again! Yes, Bette bitch slapped Candance ass without touching her. Off to work now! PPS
Just goes to show you how CANDACE was hellbent (sorry) on pushing herself on BETTE and not even caring about her livelihood, still should let TINA have a go at that a$$hole. coming along nicely.pps
Although some ass kicking would’ve been fun, I think this way really hurt Candace more. Way to go Bette, Tina and Yolanda. Candace should be happy that Kit didn’t interfere. She would be dead meat……..
Liked this update Bat. Keep them coming.
It would have been so nice if this had happened,
Bette have said no to finish Candace attack.
And if half of the writers were Lesfan, the series
would still be in televisãp.
The complete constellation.
