The next day

Bette wakes up; she realizes she slept on the couch holding her and Tinas picture. She gets up to call Alice to see if she heard anything from Tina.

Alices house, she and Dana are still sleeping and she heard the phone ringing.

Alice: (sleepy voice) Hello

Bette: Hey, did I wake you?

Alice: uh yeah whats up Bette?

Bette: did she call?

Alice no

Bette: Alice if she called and told you not to tell me you would tell me right?

Alice: of course, hey ***** I was not even suppose to tell you she left, but I did

Bette: If she calls will you tell her I love her and to call me

Alice: yeah sure Bette, I will stop by later ok

Bette: ok by

Dana: Bette?

Alice: yeah, on the Tina hunt?

Dana: are you ok?

Alice: yeah just fucked up you know those two were the perfect couple damn.

Dana: come here (grabbing Alice and pulling her closer to her)

Alice: Im glad you stayed

Dana: Im glad I stayed too. But I have to go to practice

Alice: well, what are you going to do about Tonya?

Dana: She went to visit some friends overnight, so it works out

Alice: no, thats not what I meant
Dana: oh, I dont know, I guess I have to tell her

Alice: you guess? Glaring at Dana and pulling away

Dana: thats not what I meant Alice

Alice: so, why do I get the feeling you are having some problems, should I just cut my loses now or what?

Dana: dont do this now, I have to go to practice and I will come back later

Alice: I meant what I said last night, I thought you meant the same and felt the same.

Dana: I do, I do, I want to be with you

Alice ok, I still feel likes there is a problem,

Dana: (getting dress), there is no problem I will take care of it

Alice: whatever?

Dana: stop it, I will, come here

Alice: no, Dana why dont you just leave?

Dana: Alice stop

Alice: no Dana you stop

Dana leaves not letting Alice see the tears in her eyes.

Bette and Tinas house

Bette has taken a shower and is now back on the couch she picks up the picture of Tina and her. She begins to think out loud. How could I have messed this up, I have to find her, how am I going to find her. Then she has a thought:


Tina wakes up

She cried herself to sleep still feeling the pain as if someone had taken a knife to her heart. This is a hurt unlike anything she felt before, she takes that back, she has felt hurt, when she lost the baby. But it is still a different kind of hurt. She decides to go for a swim. All she wants s to do is some serious soul searching and r and r. Tina must do for Tina. She already has made a list of things she needs to do, when she goes back home, they will have to split the assets , sell the house, her car is in Bette name *****, maybe Bette will want to keep the house, she for sure does not want it , what if they did it in the house, in their bed. I hate you Bette Porter she screams. She drives into the water.
