I WANT YOU BACK Part 19
Tina stuttered “ I…I thought Kayleighs family gave me that car!. I thought they were just being kind! They wouldn’t even take money off me when I started working!”
“They loved having you there…Mrs Scott has tore so many strips off of me in the past 2 years that I’m amazed I’m still in one piece! Also that stubborn woman put all the money I gave them for your upkeep into an account, and on the day you, Angelica and Kayleigh left to go back to West Hollywood Mrs Scott posted a cheque to me for the full amount I had given her for you back to me! It came through my door with a note saying “Throwing money around does not make up for how you have treated your talented, caring daughter. Please make your peace with her..She is a wonderful girl..who I would be proud and privileged to call my daughter. You are missing out on her and your granddaughters life!- Is this the kind of mother you envisioned yourself to be when you bore your child? Think about it… Kind regards Mr & Mrs Scott!”
“Wow! And I thought Mrs Scott was meek and mild!
“But even the most reserved person can turn when someone she genuinely cares for is hurt!..And Mrs Scott!…-She sure told me in no uncertain terms what she thought of me!..But I still couldn’t bring myself to contact you..What was I suppose to say? “Hey Christina long time no speak..I’m sorry I treated you bad!..Please forgive me?…and by the way as a side note -I’m dying?!”
“I would have welcomed you with open arms mom!…” Tina said quietly
“Christina I really didn’t want you to know about my illness. I wanted..”
Tina cut her mother’s sentence short “I’m glad I know mom. I just wish you had contacted me sooner. I could have helped you and dad”
Tina’s mother looked at her wistfully then said “I’m glad I did not contact you sooner..You would not be back with Bette! You wouldn’t have moved back to Weho..I know you, You would have insisted on being close to me!…Even after the dreadful way I treated you…I cant stress enough how bad I feel…Hindsight is an amazing thing!…I understand now why you had to be true to yourself..You had to be who you are- No matter what others thought!…You had to live your life the way you desired, because there are no second chances… Life is not a dress rehearsal! I get it now!…Obviously I am a slow learner, because I only came to this realisation of late..”

That was great and glad they are ok now. Please post more, thanks!
i hope tina’s mom means what she said! too bad she waited too long before coming around! :)PPS
Glad Tina and her mother got things fixed. But, to bad for Chrissy that she waited so long. Great Chapter!!!! PPS
I am glad that Tina had that heart to heart talk with her mother. Even though they don’t share much time together the past can be placed on the back burner and they can move forward.
Hope the apology is truly sincere and heartfelt because I don’t believe her for one moment. She has been so very vitrolic in her comments against Tina dn Bette and I don’t for one minute believe she has changed that much. For her sake, I hope she has. I just don’t want her to lull everyone into believing she has changed and then wham do something to hurt them again. I wouldn’t put it past her to ask Bette to leave Tina as a dying wish. Leopards don’t change their spots at all. It was a well written chapter. PPS
It would be nice if life was really like that and people didn’t have to be dying to comes to terms with respect. Thank you, Md
Such a well written chapter – I too wish that Chrissy had not waited until she was on death’s doorstep to make amends to her daughter, Bette, and her granddaughter. I think Chrissy must be every bit as stubborn as Bette! Losing her mother so soon after coming together again will be extremely difficult for Tina. I look forward to finding out where you take the story…
oh too sad really!!!pps
Very nice chapter..glad Tina gets her a chance to mend with her parents. pps
