Everyone started to fuss and back away, when Bette’s loud voice rang out across the living room.

”Move your ass!” Bette yelled at Miranda, when the girl stumbled in haste. ”Helena, you are driving my car”

”What? Why the fuck?”

”Go to your bar. We’ll meet you there after everything’s done”

”Bette, are you crazy? I’ll go with you!”

Bette turned on her heels and faced Helena. ”I said go to the bar, Helena” She growled and moved to push Miranda into the SUV backseat. Glancing at Helena’s pouty stature, she shook her head and jumped in the SUV.

”Where to, boss?” Marcus asked, pulling away from the curb.

”LAX”

Marcus did a double take, but kept mum. Shane seemed to be more inquisitive, as she peeked out of the back and looked at Bette. ”LAX?”

”Yes. Shane, I know that this girl is telling the truth. I know it. She is flying out of the town tonight”

Shane sat back, totally baffled. She glanced cautiously at Miranda, who seemed to tremble a little bit. Shane ran her hands across her face and let out a nervous giggle. ”I trust you, Porter, really trust you… But this is a one crazy fucking shit, I tell ya”

After Bette made sure that Miranda got a ticket on the nearest flight to Denver, she wished the girl good luck and got back to the car. Looking at her hand watches, she almost gasped. It was about midnight already. Checking her phone, she sighed. No calls or messages from Tina. Somehow it upsetted the brunette. Was Tina not missing her? But then Bette thought, that she would have been able to answer back quickly enough, if Tina did have called her or left a message. Tina had probably been studying all evening and was asleep already. Bette smirked at her nerdy girlfriend. Still, it was so endearing, and her heart spill over itself with love, whenever the blonde visited her head. Bette gulped, when realized, that Tina had been visiting a lot lately. Or, like, constantly. She seemed to hold her breath, because the next thing she realized is that she was in love. For real, she was in love for real. Not in an immature way, like with her Professor, or in a lustful way, like with her straight college roommate, Kelly. She was truly and utterly in love in all the possible and unpossible ways with one Tina Kennard.
