Bette grinned cunningly. ”What?”

”You didn’t come over here to give me a lil’ peck on the lips and sneak away?!”

Bette pretended to be deeply in thought. Then she surrendered. ”Okay, you’ve got me, babe”

Tina smirked and pulled the brunette to her, embracing and awarding her with a proper kiss. Bette leaned on the railing as she deepened the kiss, intertwining her tongue with Tina’s.

”Mmm” Tina moaned softly and inched her mouth back a bit. ”You had a drink?”

”Two” Bette replied in a whisper, caressing Tina’s silky cheek.

”You look tired, baby… When did you finish your work?”

”Not so long ago”

”Aww” The blonde crooned before she kissed Bette on corner of her lips tenderly. ”My baby” She continued, snuggling further into Bette’s warm body and hugging her tight.

Bette burried her nose into the fair soft locks, swallowing hard. Her feelings for Tina had become so overwhelming that they basically poured out of her, causing her to tingle all over. She had never imagined that it was even possible to experience an equal mixture of pure ecstasy and pure pain.

”Tee”

Tina drew back and fixed her loving stare on Bette. ”What?”

”I need to tell you something”

The blonde observed the beautiful woman in her arms, who seemed to be struggling inwardly and encouraging herself to speak.

”I know that it’s been a little time… But I think I..”

”What do you think, baby?”

”I…”

Both jumped with Tina easing back from Bette, when the house door opened suddenly and Albert Kennard stepped out.

”Dad, why are you not sleeping?”

”I should ask you this question, young lady” The man said to his daughter, eyeing the brunette.

”Good evening, Mr. Kennard” Bette dared to greet Tina’s unfriendly father.

Albert scowled. ”The point is that it is not an evening already. Not even a very late evening. It is almost three in the morning. How dare you to show such a disrespect by coming to my house at this time?”

”Daddy, please stop!” Tina outcried, tears forming in her eyes. She couldn’t believe her father’s behaviour.

”Christina, get in the house and prepare for bed right now” Albert scolded.

Tina looked at Bette, absolutely shamefaced for the way her father had been speaking with the brunette a moment ago.

”I’ll call you” She whispered and retreated into the house. Her father switched the porch light off before coming right after his daughter and closing the door firmly.

Bette stood, dark and silence surrounding her. She snorted, pondering. ’Will have to bear with this scumbag. Because no one will take Tina away from me. No one ever.’
