I sighed and rolled over onto my back… I glanced over at the clock and had 15 more minutes to enjoy…I closed my eyes and begin to relax when Bette tapped my leg and sat down and said “T..could make sure to have my suit waiting for me when I get home?”
I open my eyes and look at her like she’s crazy…did she not know that I had a job or did she forget…I smiled and said “babe…I have a job…she lifts her hands up and says “remember”
Bette says “yeah your right” she sighs and rubs her head…
Tina sits up in bed…Bette seemed to be under some stress..her memory wasn’t long to save her life…Tina looked her in the eye and said “hey…are you ok?” rubbing her back
Bette looks up and says “yeah…I’m fine…just a bit tired that’s all” she smiled at Tina
The blond pushed her hair behind her ear..she said “I don’t think you should go to the party Bette…your in no shape to move…” she looks her body up and down…she shaked her head and says “you even have bags under your eyes…” Tina stroked her hair and asked “when are you gonna just take a break and slow down?…energizer woman” Tina asked with concern and sarcasm in her voice…
Bette laughed and said “soon..” she sighs and says “real soon” she looks down into Tina’s eyes…
Tina smiled and said “okay…I’ll take your word” she gets out of bed and stands before the brunette…she stretches and entends her hand saying “come on…lets shower together?”
Bette gave Tina her hand and the brunette stood as the blond led her into the bathroom….
The California Arts Center…That night
Bette pulled up and parked in the director’s spot…she and Tina both undid their seatbelts…Bette gets out and goes over to Tina’s side…she opens the door and helps the blond out and excorts towards the building…Bette and Tina reach the door when Tina suddenly pulled back
Bette jumped back and said “what’s wrong?” she looks down at the blond
Tina looked up and said “I’m not ready to go in yet”
Bette shooked her head and said “what do you mean your not ready Tina?…I am the director and I have to be in there” she stands waiting for a response…
