    “So how is it going sharing your house with Tina and two kittens ?” Rosemary asked Bette as they walked through the bustling New York streets that were bright with the lights of Christmas decorations. The two of them had been Christmas shopping for Melvin and because he was out of town at a law

    “So how is it going sharing your house with Tina and two kittens ?”
    Rosemary asked Bette as they walked through the bustling New York streets that were bright with the lights of Christmas decorations. The two of them had been Christmas shopping for Melvin and because he was out of town at a law conference Rosemary was shopping with her daughter and would be going back to Bette’s house for dinner. Rosemary was looking forward to seeing how Bette was doing now that they big house she had lived in alone for so long was now inhabited by Tina – Bette’s beloved partner and the two newest additions of two kittens.
    “The kittens are taking some getting used to – more than getting used to Tina being around all the time. I love having her home “
    “When does she start at NYU ?”
    “We were reading stuff that they sent her last night – I think her first day is the third Monday in January “
    “So what is she doing with herself ?”
    “When she is at home she is hunting for kittens and emptying her package crates. I think she is down to the last 4 or so “
    “Do the two of you have any plans for Christmas ?”
    “No – we should talk about it “
    “When I get the two of you together I will tell you two all about having dinner with Helena and Emma “
    “Tina was worried about it “
    “Tina should trust her mom “
    Bette looked at her mom
    “Come on mom “
    “No –I will tell you when you are with Tina – I am not telling the story twice “
    “How about you give me a hint ?”
    Rosemary smiled “All I will say is that Helena and Emma are two very smart women and they do look good as couple “
    “Do you think that ? – I know the first time you met them you were not impressed”
    “I think everyone was nervous that day. But they are good together. I have watched you and Helena grow into very beautiful women and I have seen the two of you getting your hearts broken and your hopes crushed a lot of times. This relationship is different for Helena because she is not playing the part of the Peabody. Emma is too long in the tooth to be impressed by many of Helena’s grand gestures and that makes Helena raise her game “
    Bette nodded “I agree with you – I also think that Helena has opened up more to Emma than she has with other girlfriends – I take it you heard all about the nightclubs ?”
    Rosemary laughed “It was a night of surprises – what do you think Melvin and I should buy Tina for Christmas ?”

      Bette and Tina found with each other the love of their life!

      Is there any change that you will write a sequel? I can’t get enough of them and would love to see what the future bring them.

    2. I love this story so much. I am even on board with Helena and Emma. And as you know I was not a fan. I will miss these seven characters very much. Nine if you add Bonnie and Clyde. Love that Peggy and Emma hung out. And a visit from Bette’s mom is always enjoyable. I know there is so much more to Bette and Tina’s journey. They are young and just starting out. So much pure and authentic love. This is one of my absolute favorite stories. Perhaps an epilogue?

    4. I love the imagination and the story line and the characters of this story. I love that in the end, they are all just one big family. Tibette are perfect – full of energy and love and ambition. With the addition of Bonnie and Clyde, they are in for years of joy and adventure.

      Bette and Tina have a solid beginning and the endorsements of their families and friends. That means a lot.

      I so loved this story. I love the humor between these two. Bette is really a great humorist. I love the drama and I love the love. Thank you for this and I hope you do more sometime in the future. I have read some of you other stories…. you are really good and the stories are very entertaining…. My best wishes to you. Hope to see something new in the future.

      I must also express my hope that you have the desire to continue with many more new chapter one of my all-time favorite fanfics – The L Wing. I repeated so many times through the years and now I am planning to reread again. So I really hope you feel like taking that story :).

      I don’t usually comment, but I really enjoyed this story. This Bette reminds me of POTUS Bette, she’s honest, she’s kind and she just wants to love without boundaries. I really like this version and loved the character development.
      PS: consider finishing The L Wing?
