“Hmm?”
“Do you love me?”
“Oh my fucking God! Emotional blackmail? Seriously?”
“Do you love me?”

“Do you?”
“Sorry, it’s a secret.”
Pout. “You don’t?”
“Twist my arm, why dontcha?” Siiigh. “Of course I do.. you know I do..”
“Then please, for me, stop scratching your butt with your hands. You’re not only making a spectacle of yourself, you’re also making your condition worse.”
“But-”
Raised eyebrow.
“But-”
Two raised eyebrows.
“Okay fine..” Drops head, exhales loudly and pouts. “I’ll use a fork instead.”
“…”
“What? You said no hands!”
“For someone who prides herself for being well-bred and classier than the rest, you sure are acting mighty crass this morning..”
Shrug. “What can I say? You’re a bad influence. Being with you for years has brought out the worst in me.. OW!”
“What did you say?!”
“N-nothing love.”
“Hmph. And Porter?”
“Hmm?” Scratch. Scratch.
“Drop the fork.”
“But-”
“Drop. It. Now.”
“Aw.. tch.. fine.”

“Uh.. babe.. what are you doing?”
“Following orders.”
“But..”
“You told me to stop scratching..”
“I did, but-”
“So I’m rubbing my itchy ass against your body instead.”
“…”
“Technically I’m not scratching, I’m just rubbing. Now stand still for a few seconds, I just need to rub a little over here.. and here.. and-”
“Um.. guys..”
“Hmm? Oh.. hey Sammy, good morning!”
“Erm.. isn’t it a little tacky to be dry humping by the buffet table in front of a very um.. captive audience?”
“Nah-uh.. we’re not dry humping Samantha. Kennard’s just helping me scratch, I mean, rub an itch.”
“I”ll say.”
Grooooooan. “Porter, I knew we should have ordered room service instead..”

THE SWELLING.
Honeymoon Suite 104.
“Babe, have you seen the sunblock?”
“Bed.”
“Sunglasses?”
“Coffee table.”
“Key card?”
“Bar.”
“You?”
“Balcony..” Bette shouted at Tina’s scrambling form as the blonde journeyed around their suite, grabbing scattered things all over the room and stuffing them inside her bag.
“Are you sure you don’t want to come with us?” The frazzled blonde asked when she was sure that she had everything packed for this morning’s excursion. She tossed the heavy bag on top of the couch on her way to the balcony where Bette was standing by the railing, soaking up the morning sun. “Alice tried it before, she said it was a blast.” She told the brunette who was gazing idly down at the hotel’s private beach, watching two staff members combining the sand for trash and driftwood, working hard to maintain its cleanliness for the resort’s guests.

Brilliant, as always, Alchemy. Your dialogue and descriptions are so funny. The image of itchy, swollen Bette is just hilarious, especially the breakfast scene. I always look forward to your posts as they brighten any day! Thanks so much for continuing this story.
A hairbrush is a good way to help relieve the itch. Damn jellyfish and other stinging things. I guess that the economic situation is even hitting the fan fiction stories. I love Bette and Tina with their humor along with their love.
Poor Bette, she is too young to be in this economical dilemma. Is it that bad?, is she afraid she has to reduce the number of employees by firing them?, O Alchemy, I’m really hooked up and want to know what will happen :)
Okay… after the fun in the sun with Alice and Shane, and Bette’s… unfortunate (but funny)… bite on her derrière, I’m now worried. Why are the number of employees significant? Is Bette worried about the sheer amount of people she’ll have in her employ? What’s going on with Melvin? What’s happening with PGC? It’s all very ominous, but very gripping. Love the story, thanks Alchemy.
Have I told you I LOVE this story?? Their bantering is so funny & I love both the tenderness & the roughness between them. As you know the “…” are my favorites- they speak volumes..I mean I can SEE the expressions on their faces! And now you leave us hanging tooo…You are SO VERY AWESOME!!
