    It was almost a year since Bette Porter agreed to oversee the monumental project of constructing the two museums that would house Peggy Peabody’s permanent art collection in both New York and California. It was a life changing multi-year project that would have Bette jet-setting between the two coasts leaving no real chance of settling

    It was almost a year since Bette Porter agreed to oversee the monumental project of constructing the two museums that would house Peggy Peabody’s permanent art collection in both New York and California. It was a life changing multi-year project that would have Bette jet-setting between the two coasts leaving no real chance of settling down.

    Although Bette hadn’t totally given up the idea of someday finding someone special and starting a family she’d resigned herself to finding joy through her love of art. Little did she know that three months later she would be welcoming the arrival of a little bundle of joy that had yet to grow into his big name.

    Her priorities changed immediately when Alexander Wolff Porter became the center of her universe. She not only had the baby she always dreamed of but she’d also found that special someone to share her life with. At 1:00am Eastern Time Bette was wide awake listening for the phone call that would connect her to the woman who held her heart captive.

    “Hi babe, it’s me. Did I wake you?” Tina whispered back.

    “No. I was waiting for you to call. I set the alarm just in case I dozed off. How are you Tee?”

    “Missing you.”

    “Really?”

    “Really.” Tina answered with tears streaming down her cheeks.

    The burdensome feelings that Bette had expressed to James just a few days ago about her relationship with Tina lightened a bit when she heard the sincerity in her lover’s tone. Even through the exhaustion she sensed Tina’s longing which was encouraging; especially since she hadn’t been feeling very wanted by the blonde of late. Bette took it as a good sign that maybe she could persuade Tina to change her mind about not having Bette visit her on location in Canada.

    “I’m missing you too sweetie.” She answered.

    “How’s Alex?” Tina asked also missing her son.

    Bette gently caressed the blonde unruly locks of her sleeping angel as he lay peacefully beside her in the queen-sized bed in the master bedroom of the Tribeca loft.

    “He’s fast asleep. I think the trip wore him out but he was a real trooper. We had a soothing lavender bath when we got in from the airport. He fell right to sleep after I fed him. How was your day? You sound exhausted.”

    2. So glad that Bette has decided to take matters into her own hands and investigate that crazy little witch. Shades of adele and jodi. Glad her mess is about to come to a halt and in doing this I hope Bette can bring criminal charges and prevent the idiot from ever directing anything ever again. Let her crawl back under that rock she crawled from. And it will also put a stop to William as well. Love your continued nightly postings. Hope you’re feeling generous again tonight. My toes just wiggle when I see a new post from you especially the ones that are immediately posted when I’m just finishing one. Thanks again.

    7. I’m still a little in the ‘bang heads’ mind set mode and find myself talking to Tina and Bette as I read. Sad really but glad Tina listened and told Bette. Equally I’m delighted Bette is now in kick ass mode.

      So involved in this story, please keep up the posts.

    10. Come on Tina, get the hell away from that woman. Tina is naive to think that she can handle Kate alone. Her stubborn attitude is going to put her in danger; i.e. date rape or worse. I am not sure that she is the partner Bette needs. Tina needs to know that she has the world at her command with Bette. She can make her mark in the movie business and get to come home to Alex and Bette. I am glad that Bette is willing to use her “pull” to protect Tina. Hopefully she can get the dirt on William and Kate.

    12. Finally my comments/prayers were answered and Tina talk to Bette!
      Now is time for Bette to kick box Kate’s ass to some frozen lake in Canada.Then the thin ice is going to break and the biatch will be gone!!
      I hope Bette will surprise Tina at the wrap up party in time to put a stop on Kate’s plan to attack Tina.
