“She’s narcissistic but she’s also in demand. If it wasn’t for Kate Shaolin-Peabody might not have gotten this project. She engineered the financing but unfortunately I’m part of the package deal. I have to oversee every aspect of the production.”
“What about keeping your distance and letting Aaron handle her? Tina you are the head of the studio for Christ sakes. What kind of control does this woman have over you that you can’t delegate the hand-holding?”
Bette’s insecurities started to flare again. She knew of Tina’s history with Kate and she hated the woman on sight. Tina had described it as raw animalistic sexual attraction that couldn’t be tamed and apparently Kate didn’t take it well when Tina ended it. Bette had warned Tina almost a year ago to be careful things wouldn’t backfire when she tried to pull away. Knowing her concerns Bette didn’t understand why her girlfriend neglected to tell her that she’d be spending two months in close quarters with her narcissistic predatory ex-lover. Maybe the fire hadn’t gone out for Tina either. Was Tina still attracted to her? Is that why she’d been so distant lately and why she didn’t want Bette to visit her in Canada? Bette’s next question was out before she could censor herself.
“So is Kate the reason you don’t want me to come to Canada? Maybe that hold that she has on you is more personal than professional.”
“Bette what the fuck are you talking about?”
“I know you’ve made a lot of compromises to be in a relationship with me Tina. We don’t share the same values about monogamy and family. I get that we have some things to work through but I can’t help thinking that maybe you’re feeling trapped. Maybe you’re having second thoughts about being tied down.”
“Bette you couldn’t be more wrong. If anything I’m feeling guilty for not being able to give more of my time to our relationship and to our family. I share your values about faithfulness Bette. I would never do anything to jeopardize us. Believe me Kate Arden is the last person I want to spend time with professionally or otherwise but its business.”
“Tee please talk to me. What’s going on?”
Tina had carried the burden of being a victim of sexual harassment on the job for months. She hadn’t been able to talk to anyone about it especially not Bette. That’s what had her feeling trapped and why she’d been shying away from intimacy with her partner.

So glad that Bette has decided to take matters into her own hands and investigate that crazy little witch. Shades of adele and jodi. Glad her mess is about to come to a halt and in doing this I hope Bette can bring criminal charges and prevent the idiot from ever directing anything ever again. Let her crawl back under that rock she crawled from. And it will also put a stop to William as well. Love your continued nightly postings. Hope you’re feeling generous again tonight. Tina is lucky that Kate has not been violent to this point. That’s probably about to change. At least the movie is wrapped up so it’s time to blow Kate Arden to smithereens.

I’m glad Tina finally told Bette. Hopefully Bette gets there in time to prevent anything from happening to Tina.

I’m still a little in the ‘bang heads’ mind set mode and find myself talking to Tina and Bette as I read. Sad really but glad Tina listened and told Bette. Equally I’m delighted Bette is now in kick ass mode.

Come on Tina, get the hell away from that woman. Tina is naive to think that she can handle Kate alone. Her stubborn attitude is going to put her in danger; i.e. date rape or worse. I am not sure that she is the partner Bette needs. Tina needs to know that she has the world at her command with Bette. She can make her mark in the movie business and get to come home to Alex and Bette. I am glad that Bette is willing to use her “pull” to protect Tina. Hopefully she can get the dirt on William and Kate.

Now is time for Bette to kick box Kate’s ass to some frozen lake in Canada.Then the thin ice is going to break and the biatch will be gone!!
I hope Bette will surprise Tina at the wrap up party in time to put a stop on Kate’s plan to attack Tina.
