    LENOX HILL HOSPITAL-4

Helena smiled ”good grief Tina, of course she would like that, she loves all forms of small humans”.

Tina nodded and jumped into her car.

For the next few days Tina worked night shifts, which meant spending the day with Angelica when she finished at the nursery and leaving her in Monica’s custody in the evening.

She had stopped by Bette’s before starting her shift in the ward even if it had been a quick hello, Alice and Shane both had the day off and talking to Helena about the plan that Tina wanted to implement they had decided to organize a gambling den with Bette. This had pleased Tina even if she and Bette had not been able to talk much, but Tina had seen Bette’s look, peaceful and serene and that was worth more than anything else.

In the meantime Helena had called a colleague of hers in Oregon, an expert in heart and lung transplants, the classic heart surgeon God for a consultation on Bette, Helena believed that her friend could be included in a clinical because of some requirements, young age for example, physical fitness and other.

She really hoped so, Jackson Avery had really worked wonders with his transplants in Oregon State, he was a pretty sensible mama’s boy and had studied with the best. He had had a soft spot for Helena until she came out to him and he got married about a year after the fact.

Tina had heard about Helena’s plan, Bette and the others knew about it too but let’s say Bette wasn’t very enthusiastic about it if you could say so. She was convinced that the recommendation in these fields would bring some sort of luck and then she didn’t want to steal the healthy heart of someone who was worse off than her just because she had connections, she too, like all doctors, had a professional ethic.

We can say that Helena had put the matter aside in front of Bette while she worked on Jackson in other ways.

When Tina finished for the second consecutive night she went to the locker room of the structured at seven in the morning hoping that it was practically deserted again but unfortunately she met the person she never wanted.
