Tina didn’t know, but she didn’t care either, she felt like she was doing that for Bette and much more.

In fact, unbeknownst to Bette, Tina the next day, on her day off, took Angelica after lunch telling her that she would meet a friend of her mother.

In a few weeks Angie would be three years old, she already spoke very well, Tina saw her as so intelligent and adorable, she really hoped that Bette would be positively impressed by her and vice versa.

Angie had prepared her backpack with all her things, and cards for the couples game, two rag dolls and colored dice for construction, she loved playing with someone and had asked Tina if she and her friend could play together.

Tina obviously hoped so.

When they arrived in front of Bette’s room, Andrew was on duty as always, Tina adored him, he was a boy from another time, good manners and if she hadn’t been gay he would have definitely tried.

”Hi Andrew…this is Angelica my daughter”

Andrew smiled at the little girl ”Hi Angelica, wow Dr. Kennard you really are beautiful”

Tina smiled ”so how is Bette today?” She asked as she played with Angie’s curls.

”In great shape, she beat Alice and Dana in a domino game, Dr. Porter is so handy with her hands”

Tina laughed ”gosh then she must be in a good mood”.

Tina entered, Bette was leaning on the edge of the window, standing. She was looking out of the hospital, for almost December that day there was a warm sun. When the brunette turned and saw Tina with her arm the little beautiful creature enter for Bette it was like seeing ten rays of sunshine.

”Oh my god, Hey…what a surprise…” Bette said smiling speechlessly

”Dr. Porter we have a fan of yours…” Tina joked putting Angie down and leading her by the hand to Bette’s bed to make her sit.

Bette approached, her smile was something that Tina had not seen yet, Bette had a beautiful smile but at the sight of that little girl, it became even more beautiful.

”Are you friends with Mommy T?” Angie asked not too shy looking at Bette carefully ”you have my hair” she said touching Bette’s curls who laughed warmly excited.
