Bette smiled sarcastically ”Tina I don’t know what you want me to tell you..I certainly won’t tell you to deprive me of Angelica so I don’t catch a cold, she’s the only ray of sunshine in this hell.”

Bette’s sincerity struck her, Tina was so weak now, she wanted to cry.

”Then we need to work out the details.” Tina stated walking back to the bed ”when Angie is sick or even just a little sneezes Bette won’t come…we can’t risk it…I know she’s excited to come to you, but I can’t put you at risk”

Bette sighed, another cough hitting her. ”Okay.”

Tina sat on the bed, Bette took her hand softly their eyes fixed on their fingers ”I don’t want you to feel guilty about this…”

Tina smiled slightly ”I just don’t want this to cause you any problems now…let’s just think about you.”

”I’ll get by with a few more days, I can’t take too much antibiotic, but it will pass sooner or later…” Bette tried to smile but was already weak, Tina unhooked her hand from Bette’s to place it on the woman’s forehead.

She closed her eyes.

”It doesn’t seem like your temperature is high… but please, I’ll have Clarissa check you several times tonight… if you feel anything strange don’t hesitate…”

Bette nodded, wetting her lips. ”Go or Angelica will get nervous with Helena!”

Tina smiled, she really didn’t want to leave Bette like this, she lightly caressed her cheek, Bette closed her eyes ”I’ll be here tomorrow morning before 7, I’ll come and check on you ok?”

”Yes sir,” Bette joked and Tina gave her a quick kiss on the forehead as she gathered her things, ”give Angelica a kiss.” Bette reminded her before disappearing down the hallway.

Bette felt exhausted, she had pretended to be fine all day, but it wasn’t true, she knew she would be sick for a few days, it had already happened to her when she was just admitted to the hospital, a small cold had turned into a bad pneumonia. But now she didn’t really want to think about it, she had enjoyed the closeness of Angelica and Tina above all. This was the most important thing for now.
