”you know, Angelica drew her first Christmas drawing this week….” Tina started talking as if it were the most natural thing in the world, her hand always resting under the brunette’s knee ”it was….it was a tree with lots of pink lights…and then maybe it was a sofa next to it with some hideous colored packages. She told me they were presents” Tina laughed lightly ”and then there was her in the center, she had drawn herself with a smile that took up her entire face”.

Tina swallowed, she didn’t know if this was going well for Bette or not, but she was trying to do her best, there were seven minutes left until the end of the exam.

”pink lights?” Tina heard Bette giggle lightly from inside the car, just enough.

”yes” Tina closed her eyes to laugh ”I don’t know where she saw a Christmas tree with pink lights…she’s attracted to pink!”

Bette giggled again and Tina listened to that laugh as she turned to Amelia who gave her a positive nod, the parameters were definitely back to normal.

”I’m sorry Tina…” after a few minutes of silence Bette said ”I was terrible and you’re still here with me…”

Tina bit her lip, Amelia could hear the conversation but Tina didn’t really care.

”you don’t have to worry Bette…”

The exam ended and at the exit a nurse took care of taking Bette to her room.

”ok everything is normal luckily…” Amelia said relieved as Tina entered ”we’ll print these and add them to her file as Helena wants”

Tina nodded.

”you were good you know? I didn’t think you had that kind of relationship..I’m sorry I said those things before…”

Amelia seemed really sorry ”don’t worry…it’s all so confusing, anyway I’m going up, if you need a hand you know where to find me”.

Tina entered Bette’s room half an hour later, closing the door carefully, taking the MRI results to put in the folder.

Bette looked at her silently.

”Are the tests okay?”

”Yes, everything is perfect.” Tina gave a satisfied smile.

”Tina” ”Bette” they said at the same time

”No, go, sorry…” Bette said, falling silent and waiting for the blonde.
