Bette hoped to break words with Gaia explaining what was told to her by Kelly was not as it seemed. She had been friends with Gaia for many years and similar to own self she was as stubborn as a bull. Her anger towards her now former friend was minimal compared to what Gaia felt towards her. Although, her heart understood why it was difficult in getting her mind to follow suite. Never could the Gods have foreseen the day she and Gaia would turn into enemies. However, punishing all for the conflict between them was completely selfish and unwarranted.

“Is this what you crave innocent yet childish blood shed!?”

“It is not I who craves blood shed but you, “Gaia says forcefully, “You treacherous fuck!”

“You are like a cat with no claws still fucking tongue!”

“I will not and you are welcomed to try, “Gaia seeing red rushes towards Bette with her sword drawn. With her blood racing and her heart pounding away at her chest Bette welcomes Gaias advances. The others looking on with a look of disbelief upon their faces anxiously await for what was to come next. Just before Gaia and Bettes swords make contact the youngest soldier of them all abruptly steps in between them.

“Still yourselves, “she yells loud enough the get the attention of them all. With both her arms raised at arm level she signals for them to cease. Gaia and Bette both startled by her bold gesture stop immediately. With adrenaline angrily coercing through their veins and there their chest rising and falling trying to regain their breath, all eyes were on the young woman standing before them. The look of disdain and disappoint on the young womans face caused both Bette and Gaia to pause. Following their led the others lower their weapons as well. The young woman seeing them all render their weapons gathers her inner strength to find her voice as her sudden reaction came as a surprise to her as well.

“I ask you all to look at yourselves, “she yells, “We were all sent to purpose to seek vengeance against a spineless woman who is set to destroy not only our homes but our world! The war is with her not amongst ourselves! Are you willing to kill each other over past events that hold no meaning as to why we are here?!”
