    It had been several sunrises since discovering Bette mothered a “possible” child with Kelly. Refusing to emerge from her room Tina felt alone in a world filled with anger, heartache, and a future unknown. Her insecurity bore from the inability to give Bette children a gift she desperately craved but knew her body wouldn’t allow. It was easy to accuse Eva of speaking with a false tongue however, once she took a step back staring at the young girl the similarities between she and Bette were hard to ignore. They carried the same skin tone, facial features, and long curly jet black hair. Some of her mannerisms and spoken words were reminiscent of Bette as well. She carried herself in a way that commanded respect and although young her physical physique far surpassed the others. Tall, full of wisdom, and attracted to a soldiers life without realizing it or not what she saw in her she saw the same in her wife when they first crossed paths many years ago.

    Eva’s unflattering attitude towards her, the stares, avoidance of eye contact, and her gravitation towards Kit now all made since. Prior to introducing herself to Kit, Eva not only knew who Kit was but knew Tina was Bettes wife. Hoping to learn more about Bette she used Kit hoping to learn more about the mother she never knew. Desperately looking to piece together the missing parts of her life she took the one thing that could connect her to Bette inadvertently, her picture. What was more crippling than discovering Evas true identity was the fact she had received two letters from Bette and not once did she mention Kelly was among those who traveled alongside her. Furthermore, she now questioned why Bette kept secret hidden from her and if she knew of Evas existence. Laying underneath her blanket she squeezed the remaining tears left from her eyes as the possibility of Bette leaving her to pursue being a mother to Eva felt worse than death itself. While she convinced herself she could remain confined to her chambers forever her thoughts were rudely interrupted by a sudden jolt upon her door.

    Kit: [knocking on her door] Tina it is I open the door!

    1. I am sad and angry that you posted a chapter and I didn’t get a notification ???? .

      But I am very happy that you came back with a new chapter.

      Poor Tina, finding out that Bette seems to have a daughter and isn’t able to give Bette a child by herself and now has to wait for she is able to see and speak to her wife.

      I hope that they see each other soon and talk, how longer it takes that they won’t be able to talk, how more Tina can let the confusion and fear grow.

      I still hope that Eva is not a child from Bette and that snake.
