"Now listen to me make sure your friend Dana is breathing?" said the operator to Tina when she finally started to listen to what she was telling her.

"Yes, yes she is breathing….Kit I hear sirens!!" Tina shouted

"Yes the paramedics will be with you in a few minutes now can you put your friend in the recovery position for me and keep her that way till the ambulance arrives…..keep talking to her" The operator instructed.

Tina did all this with ease she put Dana in the recovery position and sat next to her stroking her hair and talking to her. She kept looking over at Alice.

"Come on Alice, hang in there, Dana will kick my ass if anything happens to you, come on little Angie needs her earth mother" Bette was rambling about anything to keep talking to Alice. Carmen was now giving mouth to mouth and Bette was doing heart compressions, when the first ambulance pulled up they were so relieved. The paramedics ran straight over to Alice and cleared Bette and Carmen telling them to keep back that they would take care of her now. They worked on Alice for a few minutes and then put a neck brace and backboard on her and put her into the ambulance. They must have been doing some work to her in the ambulance because they didn’t leave for a bit. The second ambulance pulled up as Dana was just coming round, she was very confused and calling out for Alice, the paramedics calmed her down and she was taken into the ambulance. Bette went with Dana in the ambulance to try and keep her calm. Shane on the other hand refused to go in the ambulance so she travelled with Carmen, Jenny, Tina and Kit. Kit drove. Before they left the police had arrived and the doormen handed over the two guys that were driving the car, not before giving them a good kicking first. They guys had stolen the car and were also drunk. The police took everyone’s details and told them they would be interviewed later about the incident.

In the car on the way to hospital it was very quiet but Shane kept mumbling something that no-one could understand, she was still badly shaken and her elbow’s and arms were cut so when the got to the ER they checked her in for some treatment, it took some persuading but it worked all the same. Shane arms needed stitches in three of the cuts but the other cuts weren’t that bad, she also had bruised ribs but that was probally with landing on top of Dana. It did not take Shane long to get patched up and she soon joined the rest of the group in the waiting room waiting to hear about their friends. The double doors opened and Bette came out." How is she?" they all asked at once. Bette just walked past them all and sat down, she put her head in her hands and started crying, Tina walked over slowly, "Babe what’s happened is Dana ok?" she said while rubbing Bette’s back trying to comfort her.
