"Listed Carmen you go home I’m just going to crash her for a bit." Shane told Carmen, she really didn’t want to go home she would not be able to sleep and she didn’t fancy sitting listening to Jenny. Carmen knew that Shane would not come home with her and there was no point in trying to make her so she just kissed her and followed the rest of the gang out the door.

A couple of hours later a Doctor came by to see how Dana was. He told her that she would be able to go home in a few hours once they had done the paper work and sorted out some pain relief, she would have to return in 10 days to get the stitches removed from the wound in her head. While the Doctor was in seeing Dana, Shane had went to the nurses station to ask about Alice, she informed the charge nurse of Dana’s situation and was told that she would make a phone call and would come in and see them soon. The doctor left and when Shane went back into the room Dana was up out of bed getting the clothes that Kit had brought for her.

"I’m just going to go and get a quick shower a put some clean clothes on I’m sure it will make me feel a bit better." Dana said as she headed to the bathroom.

"Okay give me a shout if you need anything!" Shane replied.

While Dana was in getting a shower the charge nurse came in and told Shane that she had pulled a few strings and that Dana and her could go up to intensive care to see Alice for a few minutes. Shane sat for another 20 minutes before going up to knock on the bathroom door.

"Dana you ok in there?" Shane shouted through the door, no reply. "Okay Dana I’m coming in!" she shouted and opened the door to find Dana was sitting on the floor of the bathroom crying. "Oh Dana come here, don’t cry" Shane reached down and pulled Dana to her feet he wrapped her arms around her. Listen I spoke to the nurse and she says we can go and see Alice for a few minutes so hurry up and get ready" Shane said trying to cheer Dana up. It worked she stopped crying and walked over to her clean clothes and started getting ready.
