"Well did you find out anything? Is she ok? Where is she?" Dana fired all these plus a lot more questions at Bette the minute she set foot in the room. Bette walked over to the bed and pulled up the extra chair that was sitting she sat and explained everything the Doctor had told her…….tears streamed down Dana’s face as the news sunk in. "She will be ok….won’t she Bette?….I need to go and see her I need to be with her she will want to see me when she wakes.." Dana said as she was trying to fling the covers back to get out the bed.

"Come on Dana you heard what Bette said she is in surgery you can’t see her just now…lie back and get some sleep they will come and tell us when she is out and then you can go and see her, there’s nothing any of us can do just now…please Dana!" Tina begged. She stood up and walked over to the bed and pulled the covers back up over Dana.

"Where’s Kit?" Bette asked

"She is away to get Dana some clothes and toiletries and also tell Angus what’s happening, I also called Helena but she is out of town for the weekend." Carmen replied "What happened to Shane?" she added.

"She is ok Carmen…well that’s what she told me to tell you, but she is far from ok, she is blaming herself for Alice being hurt she thinks she could have tried harder to get her out the way…" Bette told the group.

"That’s just stupid she saved my life by pulling me out the way and I know she tried to pull Al to safety too, where is she, I want to talk to her." Dana snapped, she didn’t mean for it to come out that way but she hated being stuck in that bed not being able to do anything for Alice.

"When I left her she was down the stairs in a waiting room Doctor Richardson set aside for us, she said she was going to call Lenore to tell her what had happened." Just as Bette had finished saying this the door opened and in walked Shane, she walked over to Dana and just swept her up in a hug. They stayed like that for a couple of minutes the Dana pulled away.
