    chapter 26:

     

    Text to Tina:

    So you still wanna go to the movies tonight?

    Text to Bette:

    Yes. Do you?

    Text to Tina:

    Is Trevor still coming?

    Text to Bette:

    I think so.

    Text to Tina:
     Great!

    Bette was standing in her underwear, changing into her practice gear.  She hears her phone buzz again, indicating another text from her blond princess.

    Text to Bette:

    U don’t mean that but it’s gonna be ok.

     

    They spoke about outing Bette to Trevor so that he would stop trying to get with her.  Bette said it was up to Tina.

    When Tina gets home she has about an hour to tell Trevor before Bette gets there to catch the 8 pm showing of Moneyball.  She goes to the guest room where Trevor is combing his hair trying to get it just right.

    “Wow, guys primp too?”

    “Well yes we do.  It takes time to morph into the greatness you see before you.”  Trevor said with a flourish.

    “Cuz you were right.  I went to Pepperdine today and I met two hot chicks and got their digits.  I was invited to a frat party on Friday night.”

    “Good.  See what did  I tell you playboy?  So now you can leave my friend alone.”  Tina said trying to mask how possessive of Bette she’s become.

    “Fine but I think she likes older guys.  I’ll show her how mature I can be tonight on our date tonight.”

    ‘Did he just say date?’

    “Who knows.  Maybe she’ll come to me.”  He said with a smirk.

    Tina has her head in her hands.  He is obviously not going to give up.

    “Trevor, Bette’s gay!”

    “What?”

    “It’s true.  Bette’s a lesbian.” Tina finally admitted.

    “But she’s like so pretty.”

    Tina rolled her eyes.

    “So only ugly girls can be lesbians in your world?”

    “Well no.  I mean I love lesbians.  I’ve even had an episode or two with a few.  Two hot girls kissing is so hot.”

    ‘How can we be related?’

    “Trevor by definition lesbians do not have sex with men.  Those girls were bisexual at best, just using one another in a drunken haze at worst.”  Tina was getting loud.  She couldn’t believe her cousin was such a douche.

    “Damn Tina, you know a lot about lesbians.  Do you want to tell me something?  Has Bette been feeding your head with all that dyke bullshit.  Next you’ll be telling me that you are more than friends.”

    2. That went better than I thought with Mrs. Kennard,( but then again her past experience dictated a different outcome, that was hard and sad to read)and who cares what Trevor thinks. Love the texting between Tina and Bette. Can’t want for the next chapter.

    6. Awww, love how Bette asnwered: I love her very much. Also it’s very sad story bout T’s mom and Carol and it just show how people can influence other people lives and should take a good look what they’re doing. Great chapter!
