Love In Control – Chapter I – Savannah (Part 1)
“Frankly, I wouldn’t have felt this anxious if you’d told me about Rian. Why didn’t you mention that she looks like some kind of … sex bombshell. Victoria’s Secret Angel shit or something …”
“Aww, c’mon Lys. You know I don’t pay attention to …”
“But you were such a player, Aerin!”
“I’m not that person any more, Lys …”
To the surprise of those looking on, Alyssa suddenly stopped, turned, and pulled Aerin into a hug.
“…. Fine, at least she’s not a redhead … like your ex…”
As Aerin gave Alyssa a kiss in response, Rian and Bette found an excuse to similarly look out of the glass doors, with Bette pointing out a fairway of one of the holes of the resort’s golf course. “And I heard that there’s a particularly dramatic backdrop for that hole. A scene that includes the Savannah River …” Bette was saying as she pointed to an area beyond the grove of trees that was visible from where they stood.
“We really should get you down on the mat, Rian …” Ed said at almost the same time, and his tone was all business.
They all looked at each other awkwardly, not knowing whether to leave Aerin or…
“You heard him!” Aerin called out, running towards them with a broad smile. “C’mon, let’s get Rian stretched out! And Bette and I can hang out while Ed gives her legs a rub-down, too.”
They walked back to where Aerin laid the mats out earlier, their easy chatter resuming as they quick-walked to the stretching area of the resort’s gym. When they got there Bette and Aerin pulled out two other mats to sit on as Rian laid down. Ed carefully lifted each leg up, starting to stretch her out.
“So how do you know each other…” Aerin started to ask as she and Bette settled down.
Bette grunted and then gave Aerin a friendly nudge on her shoulder. “As if we should start with that topic … what was that all about with Alyssa, Aerin?”
Rian smiled at them as Aerin sighed and threw her hands up in bewilderment. “I dunno … I guess she’s a bit insecure?”
Rian couldn’t help interrupting. “A bit?”
Aerin gave her a pretend pout. “Shut up, Victoria’s Secret angel!”

Loved the start of another story with these characters. Thanks
Wow! I loved it!
This statement of Bette and Tina was at the end
of chapter was pure poetry.
The entire constellation.
No way, you are back!
I am very happy to read your story and i truly love it!
B&T, god , still so much in love.
I am looking forward to the next update!
Where to start Skydancer……..? You’ve taken us on some wonderful journeys, introducing us to your alluring cast of characters. In addition to your version of Bette and Tina (which I absolutely adore), you’ve let us have a front row seat into the lives of Aerin, Harley, Jade, and Rian, each deep, rich characters in their own right. Now you’ve started us on this new, exciting journey with your ensemble cast, that will hopefully end with each in control of their loves and their destinies.
I hope that when Rian finds that switch to her spotty memories, she’s ready for the consequences. Like the saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”
By the way, my mind is in overdrive with Bette at a golf course resort. Please make Bette, as she is in every other facet of her life, an excellent golfer with a low handicap. The differing sets of tees and handicap system combine to make the game an even playing field no matter the player or the location. In my opinion, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can conquer a traditional man’s game and put a cocky man in his place. Oh, and tight golf capris won’t hurt either….just sayin’.
I’ll be sure to grab the popcorn and a nice glass of Pinot Noir before reading your next chapter. Anxiously awaiting.
