Love In Control – Chapter I – Savannah (Part 1)
They all turned to look at him and laughed a little as he shrugged his massive shoulders. “What? You don’t have to stop catching up on my account, you know? You all can talk while we stretch you out. Could help keep Rian loose, actually.”
Aerin unhooked her arm from Bette’s and smiled broadly, noticing the nervous look Rian gave her trainer. She nudged Rian on the arm playfully. “Suggest you listen to him, Rian. He’s the expert here.”
Alyssa checked her watch and yelped. “Well, I gotta go meet my old friends. Need to grab a shower, now, Aerin. Come with?” Alyssa moved quickly to grab Aerin’s hand pulling it slightly, and eyes keenly focused on Aerin, who was still giving Rian a teasing smile. It didn’t sound like she was asking.
Aerin’s mood noticeably changed as she slowly turned to look at Alyssa. “Umm…. would you mind going off by yourself, Lys? We can just meet up later? Maybe for dinner? Gives you enough time to catch up with your SCAD buddies, right?”
Alyssa shot her a dirty look but kept a firm hold of Aerin’s hand.
Bette and Rian exchanged a quick glance, and then simultaneously checked how the imposing giant between them was reacting to this. They saw that he’d imperceptibly taken a few steps back. He was looking away, occasionally glancing around, taking a sudden, unexplained interest in the resort grounds that lay just outside the sliding doors of the gym. Bette and Rian exchanged a look again as Aerin and Lys went back and forth in increasingly chippy tones about Aerin joining Alyssa instead of staying back to catch up with Bette.
They took note of how Ed had stepped back even further away from the bickering couple. Did this happen often? It seemed like Ed was familiar with this scene.
Finally, Alyssa flung Aerin’s hand, swiveled around and stomped away. Aerin followed after her, trying to rub her back or her shoulders when she caught up with the blonde. They heard snatches of the couple’s exchange:
“I thought you were supposed to finally spend time with me … meet my friends …”
“I’m not saying we won’t be spending time together … we’ll be here for several more days, Lys. Plenty of time to meet other people. … Don’t you think your first meet-up with them will go much better if you saw them by yourself? …. You can reminisce without having to pause to explain stuff to me …. “

Loved the start of another story with these characters. Thanks
Wow! I loved it!
This statement of Bette and Tina was at the end
of chapter was pure poetry.
The entire constellation.
No way, you are back!
I am very happy to read your story and i truly love it!
B&T, god , still so much in love.
I am looking forward to the next update!
Where to start Skydancer……..? You’ve taken us on some wonderful journeys, introducing us to your alluring cast of characters. In addition to your version of Bette and Tina (which I absolutely adore), you’ve let us have a front row seat into the lives of Aerin, Harley, Jade, and Rian, each deep, rich characters in their own right. Now you’ve started us on this new, exciting journey with your ensemble cast, that will hopefully end with each in control of their loves and their destinies.
I hope that when Rian finds that switch to her spotty memories, she’s ready for the consequences. Like the saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”
By the way, my mind is in overdrive with Bette at a golf course resort. Please make Bette, as she is in every other facet of her life, an excellent golfer with a low handicap. The differing sets of tees and handicap system combine to make the game an even playing field no matter the player or the location. In my opinion, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can conquer a traditional man’s game and put a cocky man in his place. Oh, and tight golf capris won’t hurt either….just sayin’.
I’ll be sure to grab the popcorn and a nice glass of Pinot Noir before reading your next chapter. Anxiously awaiting.
