Inexplicably, Tina’s hands stopped moving, and she slowly closed her mouth.
So this wasn’t real, after all?
Jarred by the sudden rejection, Kaci withdrew her tongue. They were still face to face, lips touching, but no longer kissing. Their noses raggedly breathe each other’s scents in.
“Is he gone?”
Kaci swallowed, and then slowly pulled back. Tina avoided her eyes as she paused for a second to look at Tina’s face. Kaci dragged her eyes up, and scanned the scene behind Tina. No one else was in the lounge. Even the solitary businessman-type who’d been swiping at his tablet when they’d entered the lounge area earlier had left. The bartender’s back was to them. All was dark and quiet in the lounge, save for the guitar strings of the song playing.
“… we sit in bars and raise our drinks to growing old. Oh, I’m in love with you and you will never know. But if I can’t have you I’ll walk this life alone. Spare you the rising storms and let the rivers flow….”
Kaci struggled to swallow. She knew she was trembling from the kiss. Real or not I’m not a fucking robot, dammit! She blew a steadying breath out.
“He’s gone.”
She tried to stand, but felt her legs were still weak, so she sat back down.
Tina shut her eyes, and Kaci wasn’t sure but she thought she saw a tear fall. The blonde stood slowly, blinking several times. Then finally she fixed hazel eyes on Kaci’s large brown ones.
“Kaci, you seem to be a good person. And the strength and courage it must have taken … to be involved in whatever that was, and then leave everything you loved behind … you would be an amazing partner for someone one day. So this is hard to say, because you’re so …. um …. but you don’t know me, really, and you’d be better off forgetting about us … me, my kids … stop thinking you felt this attraction…”
Kaci found the strength at last to also stand up. She briefly covered Tina’s hand with her own and then quickly withdrew it. Somehow, she managed to pull her phone out from her back pocket. She scanned through the “dialed calls,” found the two numbers that Angie had called, and deleted them.

is chapter is painful, Tina was again unfaithful, I hope for the next face that Tina be honest with Bette and Bette are angry and disappointed, I hope Bette took time alone to think about their marital future, I hope Tina suffer and drag to order forgiveness for having sexual desires for women and never stopping to kiss that whore !!! Tina has to suffer its consequences and this story made me nervous, I’m looking forward to your next chapter, thanks for today
I will be interested how you play this with Bette and Tina. There hasn’t been very much romance for Tibette in a long time. They need to reconnect and take care of their marriage. Thanks, enjoyed it
This is turning into “Love Out of Control.” I think Dan Foxworthy is going to have his hands full with Tina once again. She needs to figure out why? Why again? I was particularly drawn to the line, “…you live in New York! You can’t avoid bumping into gorgeous people here. It’s a giant candy store out there, and you must run into all manner of eye candy all the time… ” It made me think that while everyone enjoys a little candy every now and then, it has very little nutritional value. Tina seems like the type who chooses things that nourish her. She’ll figure it out.
I’ve got to find this lesbian bar you so vividly described. It sounds like its definitely worth the price of admission.
You hit all the senses again…strawberry-flavored gloss, honeysuckle scent, warm pliant tongue, pulsing beat, daring outfits. You put me right in the scenes again.
BTW, you’ve teased us long enough, I’m dying to read about Bette’s golf outing. Bring it on!
Yes sky when you said drama well what can say. I feel bad for Kaci but I’m glad Tina stopped from letting it go any further….
When i asked more B&T time, this was not what i expected :-( . Thank god Tina stopped the kiss , but she seemed to kiss back and that is not good. I know that you can be acctracted to other people while you are in a happy secure marriage, but she is/ was playing with fire.
My heart breaks for Bette, she doesn’t deserve this. Tina has to come clean. It was Kaci who started the kiss to distract the guys attention but it was Tina who kissed back. Fuck what a mess.
And Lena is that the same woman Bette is after for the foundation?
