Love in Control – Chapter III – Latch (Tina)

Tina looked down at the table, trying to find answers in the illumination glowing below the translucent table, biting her lip.
“So that’s the trouble with never doing that crazy thing. When you get the chance to do so … you can’t. You shouldn’t … and you’re damned either way…you…”
Kaci stopped suddenly and sat up straight. Tina looked up and saw that all the tenderness in her face was gone. She seemed to be looking in the direction of something outside the lounge. As Tina began to turn around, Kaci said sharply, “No! Don’t turn around Tina!”
Tina frowned. “What? Why?”
“Not safe for you. Please! Just trust me.”
Kaci was as tense as a coiled spring, and she was clutching her glass tightly. She imperceptibly sat back, away from the illumination of the table, and motioned Tina to lean forward, as if to block Kaci’s face from being seen by the rest of the lounge.
“What’s going on?” Tina leaned forward, leaning her head on her hand which she’d stretched halfway across the table.
“When I left San Francisco, the cover story was that I’d died in a plane crash, the lone passenger aboard a small plane that had lost its way in the Sierra Nevada. The story was real enough; there was even a black box that was found and reported about in the local papers.”
“What?!”
“The problem is I’m not sure but I think there’s a guy who’d crossed my line of sight just now who I remember from that whole thing back in San Francisco. He was an associate of the main players … and I thought they’d all been sent to jail. But it looks like… “
Kaci broke off and then her eyes widened.
Without warning, she slipped a hand behind Tina’s head and drew the blonde’s face towards hers. Although she’d been firm in pulling Tina’s head towards her, she softened her lips so that when their lips met, it would be a soft, gentle, if meaningless, kiss. That’s what she intended anyway. She meant to only lightly cover the blonde’s mouth with her own, to pretend to kiss her. For long enough until the man, who’d suddenly appeared from a dark corner, and seemed to be approaching them, would walk away.

is chapter is painful, Tina was again unfaithful, I hope for the next face that Tina be honest with Bette and Bette are angry and disappointed, I hope Bette took time alone to think about their marital future, I hope Tina suffer and drag to order forgiveness for having sexual desires for women and never stopping to kiss that whore !!! Tina has to suffer its consequences and this story made me nervous, I’m looking forward to your next chapter, thanks for today
I will be interested how you play this with Bette and Tina. There hasn’t been very much romance for Tibette in a long time. They need to reconnect and take care of their marriage. Thanks, enjoyed it
This is turning into “Love Out of Control.” I think Dan Foxworthy is going to have his hands full with Tina once again. She needs to figure out why? Why again? I was particularly drawn to the line, “…you live in New York! You can’t avoid bumping into gorgeous people here. It’s a giant candy store out there, and you must run into all manner of eye candy all the time… ” It made me think that while everyone enjoys a little candy every now and then, it has very little nutritional value. Tina seems like the type who chooses things that nourish her. She’ll figure it out.
I’ve got to find this lesbian bar you so vividly described. It sounds like its definitely worth the price of admission.
You hit all the senses again…strawberry-flavored gloss, honeysuckle scent, warm pliant tongue, pulsing beat, daring outfits. You put me right in the scenes again.
BTW, you’ve teased us long enough, I’m dying to read about Bette’s golf outing. Bring it on!
Yes sky when you said drama well what can say. I feel bad for Kaci but I’m glad Tina stopped from letting it go any further….
When i asked more B&T time, this was not what i expected :-( . Thank god Tina stopped the kiss , but she seemed to kiss back and that is not good. I know that you can be acctracted to other people while you are in a happy secure marriage, but she is/ was playing with fire.
My heart breaks for Bette, she doesn’t deserve this. Tina has to come clean. It was Kaci who started the kiss to distract the guys attention but it was Tina who kissed back. Fuck what a mess.
And Lena is that the same woman Bette is after for the foundation?
