Kate chuckled as she sat back against the bar, and watched the dance floor fill up with writhing, gyrating bodies. Not to say that Tina’s outfit was tacky. The opposite, in fact. It was tasteful, but undeniably, fetchingly, sexy.
Those two still have the most amazing relationship, really. Of course, Bette would never, ever, in a million years, deign to think she could tell Tina what to wear. I guess I’m partly to blame. I did tell them that it was important that we blend into the bar scene so that Tina and I could do our scouting and research without being noticed. And I can’t deny that I told them that Tina’s outfit totally fit the bill.
But, hot damn, with the way she did her hair and makeup, the blonde was killing it tonight! I wonder what would happen if she run into Kaci?

Having regained her composure, Tina left the crowded restroom and squeezed by the line that had formed outside the stalls in the hall leading to the bar.
The DJ had started mixing in music from live performances, it sounded like. The crowd was clearly in a celebratory mood, inebriated, most likely. The crowd packing the dance floor had grown so large that some people had spilled to a space beyond the dance floor area. She paused to look at the heaving masses.
It’s been a while since Bette and I have gone out, on a date, for dancing or a live concert, and just let go in a crowd the way those people are doing. I really should do something about that. It’s true that for the longest time, she’s been the one who’s done all the romancing. And when she got caught up in all of the gold stuff and then the foundation work, I guess I just forgot about all of that. I should have picked things up in that area, but I got busy, too. But that’s no excuse, really. It takes two to carry on with a romance, right? Love isn’t in the control of just one person – not if a couple has the relationship we have.
As Tina tried to negotiate her way past the crowded bar area, she was knocked back by a group that was grooving to the music. Knocked straight into another group that was seated by the bar.

is chapter is painful, Tina was again unfaithful, I hope for the next face that Tina be honest with Bette and Bette are angry and disappointed, I hope Bette took time alone to think about their marital future, I hope Tina suffer and drag to order forgiveness for having sexual desires for women and never stopping to kiss that whore !!! Tina has to suffer its consequences and this story made me nervous, I’m looking forward to your next chapter, thanks for today
I will be interested how you play this with Bette and Tina. There hasn’t been very much romance for Tibette in a long time. They need to reconnect and take care of their marriage. Thanks, enjoyed it
This is turning into “Love Out of Control.” I think Dan Foxworthy is going to have his hands full with Tina once again. She needs to figure out why? Why again? I was particularly drawn to the line, “…you live in New York! You can’t avoid bumping into gorgeous people here. It’s a giant candy store out there, and you must run into all manner of eye candy all the time… ” It made me think that while everyone enjoys a little candy every now and then, it has very little nutritional value. Tina seems like the type who chooses things that nourish her. She’ll figure it out.
I’ve got to find this lesbian bar you so vividly described. It sounds like its definitely worth the price of admission.
You hit all the senses again…strawberry-flavored gloss, honeysuckle scent, warm pliant tongue, pulsing beat, daring outfits. You put me right in the scenes again.
BTW, you’ve teased us long enough, I’m dying to read about Bette’s golf outing. Bring it on!
Yes sky when you said drama well what can say. I feel bad for Kaci but I’m glad Tina stopped from letting it go any further….
When i asked more B&T time, this was not what i expected :-( . Thank god Tina stopped the kiss , but she seemed to kiss back and that is not good. I know that you can be acctracted to other people while you are in a happy secure marriage, but she is/ was playing with fire.
My heart breaks for Bette, she doesn’t deserve this. Tina has to come clean. It was Kaci who started the kiss to distract the guys attention but it was Tina who kissed back. Fuck what a mess.
And Lena is that the same woman Bette is after for the foundation?
