    sleeps respite

    “Baby you need to wake up Tina?”  Bette whispered softly into her ear.  Tina didn’t utter a sound; instead she rolled from her side to her back.  As Bette felt Tina shift her position, she became acutely aware of the touch of their bodies.  The feel of Tina’s breast brushing against her caused Bette to become lost in the contact.  Without realizing what she was doing Bette had managed to measure her breathing with Tina and they were both perfectly matched in the rise and fall of their chests.  She laid her hand softly across Tina’s chest so that it rested against her heart and found peace and comfort in the steady rhythm that it produced.  Taking her fingertip she traced a path up Tina’s face.  Brushing her fingers against her lips she smiled as she noticed the wrinkling of Tina’s nose to the unexpected touch against her face.  Bette lay holding Tina tightly until sleep finally welcomed her.

     

    “Where are you going?” Bette whispered.

     

    “Liza is crying Bette.  Why don’t you get up and go to bed instead of staying here on the couch?” Tina whispered softly.

     

    “Umh what time is it?” asked Bette as she sat up and stretched her arms.

     

    “It’s a little before 3 a.m.” Tina replied as she leaned over and kissed Bette’s brow.

     

    Bette mumbled incoherently and stood up from the couch and began to make her way to the bedroom.  She couldn’t believe how tired she was.  Removing her clothes she lay down across the bed not even bothering to get underneath the cover.

     

    After Liza was fed and went back to sleep Tina walked into the bedroom.  Bette lay on her stomach with one leg drawn up towards her stomach.  She sat down at the foot of the bed absolutely mesmerized by the sight before her.  Seeing Bette so open and exposed triggered a myriad of emotions within Tina.  Before she could stop herself, she reached out her hand and traced the contour of Bette’s leg where it joined her hips.  Bette was still sleeping soundly and responded by arching her hips slightly into the air and drawing her leg tighter against her body.

     

    Tina carefully lay down so that she was on her side facing Bette and placed her knee across her thighs.  She began rubbing her leg against Bette’s body and felt an immediate response to her gentle touch.  She shuddered as she felt Bette’s hips pressing down tightly into the mattress.

    3. That was awesome and very beautiful. Finally, they shared themselves with one another — physically, because they have been emotionally. Really love how this story is going. Let them continue to talk so they can rebuild their marriage and bring their family home. Thanks for the update.
