    Bette and Tina have had enough of someone…but never enough of one another

    Tina (glancing that way and turning back to Bette): “He’s a total jerk but I don’t think he would go so far as poisoning usBaby, you aren’t really worried about it are you?”

    Bette (smiling at Tina): “No. He is just such a jerk and I would love to get back at him for the stunt he pulled here. If we were in Vegas, I would hire a transsexual prostitute and send him to his room.”

    Tina (laughing): “Bette! Oh my god.can’t you just imagine his reaction?”

    Bette (laughing hard as she imagined his face answering the door): “He would open his door to find what he thinks is this beautiful woman”

    Tina (laughing so hard she had tears as she imagined him finding out it was really a man): “And finding out that it really is a guy!”

    Bette (still laughing): “You know that would serve him right for insisting that the only reason I wanted to be with women was because I hadn’t been with the right man. Maybe he hasn’t found the right woman because he hasn’t been with the right man!”

    Tina (wiping away her tears of laughter): “I haven’t laughed that hard in as long as I can remember. I think you are good for me Bette Porter.”

    Bette (beaming at hearing Tina’s words and taking her hand in her own): “That’s a good thing to know because I plan on being around for a long time to come.”

    Then their waiter brought their lunch, they both looked at their food and then looked at each other before they laughed and started eating. The food was excellent and when they left the table Bette left an extra big tip for the waiter. They exited the restaurant, making their way to the lobby of the hotel and picked up some pamphlets on things to do in the area and made their way out of the hotel.

    They spent the rest of the day out just exploring the area.  By the time they returned to the hotel, they were exhausted and both were complaining with their feet hurting from all the walking they had done. They kicked their shoes off and lay down on the bed intending to only rest a while before getting up and getting ready for bed but they fell asleep and didn’t wake up until late the next morning.
