    Bette and Tina have had enough of someone…but never enough of one another

    Tina (sadly): “Well I guess we better get you ready before I am tempted to tie you to the bed and keep you here for the rest of week.”

    Bette (smiling): “Why Miss Kennard, I didn’t know you were in to S & M.”

    Tina (can’t stop herself from smiling back up at Bette): “I’m notor at least I didn’t think I was.”

    Bette (laughing): “I may just have to find out sometime but right now baby (her voice full of regret) I really do have to finish this shower and get ready to head out to the airport.”

    Tina (sighing): “Okaygive me the soap and I will wash your back.”

    Bette: “Tbabyno offensebut I don’t think I can do that.”

    Tina (looking up at Bette questioningly): “Why?”

    Bette (running her finger across Tina’s cheek): “Because if you do that then I will wind up pushing you up against that wall and making love to you again and there is no way I will make it to the airport.”

    Tina (smiling): “OhWell I really could wash your back”

    Bette (a pleading look on her face): “Please babydon’t make this harder than it is.”

    Tina (reaching up to gently kiss Bette before she walked out of the shower): “Okay baby. I will let you shower alone but I think that one of these days we might just have to take one together.”

    Bette quickly took her shower and dried off before she walked back into the other room to get dressed. After she was dressed she loaded her things into her rental car and went back up to the room to say goodbye to Tina.

    Bette:  (holding Tina in a snug embrace and speaking softly)  “I’m going to miss you baby.”

    Tina:  (her eyes beginning to tear)  “I know Bette.  It’s just”

    Bette:  (looking into Tina’s watery eyes)  “Just what baby?”

    Tina:  (smiling)  “I’m going to miss you more.”

    They held each other tightly for a few moments and then shared a long tender goodbye kiss after they told each other that they loved each other. Bette had tears in her eyes as she walked down to the car and got in to head to the airport.
