    “You’ve been there by yourself?” “No with my friend Dana. I haven’t told you about her, haven’t I?” “No, you didn’t.” Bette didn’t want to know about Dana. She felt this stab in her heart. There it was, Tina had a girlfriend. She sighed. Not to offend Tina, she acted like she was interested in

    “You’ve been there by yourself?”

    “No with my friend Dana. I haven’t told you about her, haven’t I?”

    “No, you didn’t.” Bette didn’t want to know about Dana. She felt this stab in her heart. There it was, Tina had a girlfriend. She sighed. Not to offend Tina, she acted like she was interested in Dana but all she could do was watch Tina’s beauty and feeling miserably minute by minute. What she didn’t know was that it showed clearly on her face.

    “Bette, hey, are you okay? You look pale all of a sudden………”

    “I’m fine…….I was just distracted. Go on with your story. You said that you could stay with Dana and her parents……..”

    Tina continued her story but somehow she had the feeling that Bette was listening but it didn’t sink. So she decided to end her story fast. She asked Bette if she wanted to share some of her past stories but Bette didn’t seem too talkative all of a sudden.

    “Do you want to go?” Bette asked.

    “That’s okay, Tina said while taking a look at her watch. I have to go home anyway. I have my Saturday chores waiting for me.”

    After Bette insisted to pay the bill, they left. The women went straight to Bette’s apartment to get Tina’s grocieries.

    “You sure, you don’t want me to help you carry your stuff home?”

    “No, I’m okay. This is the kind of stuff I usually get on Saturday, so I’m used to this. Hey thank you for this wonderful day, I’m honored to be able to show you around the hood.”

    Tina put her groceries on the floor to give Bette a hug. Something she wanted to do for awhile. Now she had a reason to do so.
    Bette didn’t know how to hold her hands. Ohh, this felt so good. It was as if she and Tina were made for each other. So she enjoyed feeling Tina’s body close to hers and she loved the way Tina smelled.

    “Thank you for spending time with me.” Bette couldn’t resist the temptation and she looked Tina in the eye and kissed her on her forehead. She didn’t dare to risk, kissing her on her mouth. But boy how hard it was for her not to do that.

    2. Wow! Thanks for the shout out! I was excited when I got back from my meeting and saw this post. I loved it! Tina will go back I feel and talk to Bette. Well, I’m off to take a nap before I go to work at 5pm. I pray there’s another post before or after I get off work. Thanks again! PPS
