The weather was nice, sun was shining and the two women enjoyed each others company. Tina asked Bette if she had breakfast. Bette didn’t. She then asked what she wanted to do. Did she wanted to go to the market first and get the groceries, or did she wanted to have breakfast first?
Bette wanted to get the groceries first and then have breakfast.

Tina reminded herself to make a mental note of this. It looked to her that she and Bette were thinking alike.

“Well, I happen to have the same thought. Let’s go.”

Tina showed Bette the market but more important, she showed Bette where to get the bargains and have good products. So after half an hour, the girls were done buying the groceries they came for. Since Bette forgot to bring her shopping bags, she borrowed some from Tina.

“Tee, can I suggest something?”

Tina looked at Bette in a special way. It sent chills through Bette’s spine but it also made her nervous. What did she said wrong?

“What happen, did I say something wrong?”

“No, on the contrary. You called me “Tee”. I like that. Will that be your nickname for me?”

“If you like me to call you that way, yes……..” Bette said, blushing. She felt warm.

“What did you want to suggest, babe? Ohh……..I’m sorry…..it just slipped.”

Bette looked Tina in the eye and whispered that she didn’t mind. Now it was Tina’s turn to blush.

“What I wanted to suggest is, is it alright with you to bring my groceries home. In that way, you’ll have your bags back and I can get my bags. We can put your groceries in my refridgerator so they’ll stay cool. And when we’re done, you can take them to your place.”

“If it’s not inconvenient for you, it’s okay with me.”

So the women walked to Bette’s apartment to put away the groceries. Tina liked Bette’s apartment. She said it breathed Bette. Bette enjoyed the compliment Tina gave her because she didn’t have much stuff in her apartment.
While putting away the groceries, Bette secretly looked at Tina. The way they moved around each other, it seemed like they were doing this for years. Bette never felt so at ease with a person. So she enjoyed the moment. It showed on her face. But then the thought that this moment would pass came into mind. That’s when Tina looked at her and saw that thought pass her face like a dark cloud.
