“You see if dinner is ready – I will see to Angie “
Bette looked at her watch “Dinner will be ready – bring her through “
Tina nodded and together they climbed off the sofa. Bette gave Tina a kiss
“Later Tina – later “
“Later cannot come soon enough “Tina admitted “ And neither can I “

Tina was reading to Angie who was struggling to stay awake . Tina finished a chapter and closed the book – under NO circumstances was Angie going to get another word read to her tonight.
“That’s exciting “ Angie said
“It is – tomorrow we will see what happens to her “
Tina put the book on Angie’s bedside table and looked at her daughter
“Did you enjoy today ?”
“It was great – every day is great here”
“It is “
“I love Bette “
“So do I “
“She told me today that her birthday was the best one she has ever had “
“She told me that too – we will have to see if we can do better next year for her”
“Does she know when my birthday is ?”
“You have mentioned it “
“Will she remember ?”
“Bette has an excellent memory and if there was the remotest chance she would forget I am there to remind her “
Tina loved to chat to Angie but tonight there was a constant throbbing between her legs that she was trying very hard to ignore. It wasn’t the sort of feeling that it was easy to ignore.
“What are we doing tomorrow ?”
“I don’t know “
“Shall I go and ask Bette “
“No – you will close your eyes and that way tomorrow will be here quicker and it can be a surprise what we are going to do “
“Will you be in bed with Bette when I wake up “
“Yes – if you come into Bette’s room knock on the door first please “
“Okay “
“Okay – have you got your carton of juice ?”
“Yes thank you “
“Right – we will see you tomorrow darling “
Tina got up and stroked Angie’s hair. It took a long five minutes while Angie tried to stay awake and failed. It felt like 50 minutes to Tina as she watched Angie slowly losing her battle to stay awake. Finally Tina was happy that Angie was out for the night. She slowly left the room ready to revert to her other treasured role – lover not mother.

Great job AllyE. Bette can finally put a mark in her Complete column. They have come(no pun intended)full circle and can begin to make amends and put their relationship on solid and equal footing. Once they are more solid, hopefully Bette will let Tina tell Angie that Bette is really her other mother. I think Angie will just be overjoyed that she is and that they are now with her permanently. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
Hope you continue the NC-17 thru the next chapter so that we know has got her groove back. lol BTW, you did a great job with it. Not too much detail, just enough to let our very active imaginations run away with us and thank God no vulgarity. This was about reconnecting, making LOVE tenderly with the woman she loves, wants and needs back in her life. Thanks again AllyE.
