Bette grinned “Good because god I love both of you “
“We love you – she’s thriving at school. The way she’s changed since we came to New York is just amazing, “
“I can see it – it must blow you away “
“it’s the perfect school for her – thank you. I couldn’t have got her in there without you pulling strings “
“Well if I cannot pull strings for my daughter who am I going to pull strings for ?”
Tina smiled and lent over and kissed Bette on her lips. Bette smiled
“That was nice – can I have another one “
“Of course “
Tina repeated the kiss and lingered before ending it. Bette stroked Tina’s face
“Thank you “
“What for ?”
“For coming back “
Tina was always amused that Bette was still blown away by the fact that she had her lover and their child in her life. It had only been three and a half months but Tina knew that as far as she was concerned this was her life from now on. All three of them were blissfully happy and that was all that mattered.
“There is nowhere else for any of us from now on but together “
Bette sighed “Yeah – the house isn’t ours any more – I don’t think that’s really sunk in “
“I know but this is our home now”
“How are the job applications going ?”
“Never my favourite thing “
“You are happy though ?”
“Bette – yes I need a job but I love being in New York and this is my home – how many times do I have to say that ?”
Bette smiled “Sorry – just sometimes – like today I was standing in the queue for my coffee and I just was overwhelmed by how wonderful it is to wake up beside you and to know that any minute our peace will be shattered by Action Angie “
“That will wear off you know “
“I doubt it “ Bette replied kissing Tina “I don’t want it to – and I really don’t think it will”

I love the story, but I was looking forward to reading more of their time together as a family for Valentine’s Day. I think that Tina may have gotten a call that the job for the script rewrite may have been cancelled, thanks to Helena, or maybe Helena brought their old house or something happened to her family back home. That’s it for my guess work. Please post soon.
