    A smiling Dana was off to the side holding up a laughing Lara in her arms, Shane was cheering with Jenny as part of the crowd. There was Alice and Carmen hugging it out while the rest of the cheerleading squad surrounded Brenda and the basketball team. Then there was Bette, right smack in the middle, smiling wide with one arm wrapped around the giant championship trophy and the other wrapped around the Captain of the cheerleading squad who had been placing a sweet kiss on her cheek.

    “You guys seemed very close”

    Emma’s words jolted Tina to awareness and she turned back in her seat to face the redhead, her voice low and lacking its usual confidence.

    “It was a big game”

    She averted her gaze before Emma could detect anything was off. All she got was a chuckle, thankfully.

    “So you mean to tell me that out of every other cliché this town has going on, the one that never fails doesn’t apply?”

    “Which one is that?”

    “Captain of the cheer squad gets with Captain of the basketball team” Emma paused for a moment in thought and tilted her head to the side. “Or football team depending what type of town it is”

    An instinctual reaction caused Tina to open her mouth with a response that was never heard, a familiar figure walking in their direction redirected Tina’s attention. Thankfully too because Lord only knows what would have come out of her mouth.

    “Brenda”

    Brenda flashed a seductive smile, her hands in the pockets of her lab coat as she held the lapels open in a sort of greeting. “Hey beautiful. Crazy running into you here”

    Tina pursed her lips, “Earlier you texted me and asked what I was doing and I told you I was having pie”

    “So?”

    “ … So this is literally the only place in town to get pie. You know for damn sure I didn’t bake my own”

    “You know, for a girl who’s lived in a small town her whole life, you really don’t get its humor”

    Tina couldn’t help but roll her eyes and smile, both annoyed and amused with the blonde’s charm. On most days Brenda really was a good friend and fun to have around, when she wasn’t vying for Tina’s affection of course.

    1. Now we have a bigger mess….Brenda has hope that there is a chance with Tina. Tina wants Bette badly but is wondering if she will truly breakup with Emma. Emma is in some self-centered world in which she views Bette as her most adoring fan. And Bette is afraid that someone’s feelings are going to be hurt. News flash…seldom can two people end a relationship without one of the parties being hurt. So, Bette, if you really want to be with Tina, you need to just break up with Emma… just do it. As time goes by it will not get easier.

      Can we move the party fast forward or better, Bette has to break up with Emma ASAP!!!! She will be hurt anyway and B&T are hurting too.

      Emma thinks she was clever to invite Brenda and that stupid bitch still thinks she can pursue Tina.

      The party will be torture for B&T and for us readers.

    5. In last two chapters i really can’t decide is Emma a very narcissistic and absolutely not playing attention on anybody else besides herself, or she just dumb.
      I guess we’ll find out in next updates.

I feel the love.. do do wish Bette would just tell Emma… this my back fire and it seems more cruel to go through with the party pretending especial if she has friends coming..now your bringing Breada back into the mix Jesus. But I see the drama your creating, it a fun read..they all seem to have a touch of Alice in them lol.. Emma so blind but i had a feeling she my be the devil if poked hard enough.. thank you sorry so late reading..
