    “Oh I love a good party” Brenda sat back in her seat just as Mama Spencer made her way over to hand the surgeon a large coffee in a to-go cup. “Especially ones that Porter plans. She has no creative imagination” “Hence the need for this lunch meeting” Emma chuckled before a thought hit her,

    “Hence the need for this lunch meeting” Emma chuckled before a thought hit her, turning the wheels in her head. Brenda had just presented the perfect opportunity and the redhead couldn’t resist jumping on it, “Actually, why don’t you come? I mean, people don’t necessarily have to bring a plus one but I have a feeling it’ll be like that anyway. I’m sure Tina would love if you’d be her date”

    Tina’s eyes widened and immediately sat up straighter in her seat, “Well actually-”

    “I’d love to” Brenda immediately cut in before Tina could come up with some excuse to disinvite her.

    With her competition out of the picture, Brenda saw nothing stopping her from pursuing Tina. What better time to make a move than at a party where it’s music and alcohol combination could create the perfect opportunity to steal a kiss if not more?

    Her pager beeped form underneath her lab coat, gaining the blonde’s attention. She shifted in her seat to pull the device free from its grip on her scrubs before looking down to read the code of the thin screen.

    Saved by the pager.

    Brenda immediately got up from her seat and scooped her coffee cup into her hand.

    “Sorry, duty calls”

    “No apology necessary” Emma replied as she rose from her own seat, “I have to get going myself. Tina will text you with the party details”

    Tina held up a finger, “Wh-”

    Brenda sped off out of the diner before Tina could object, leaving the blonde helpless to do anything more than to watch her go.

    It was like Bette getting pulled away from The Planet all over again.

    Shit, Bette. What was Bette going to do when she found out about Brenda being invited to the party?

    “Thanks for everything” Emma cut into her thoughts as she slipped on her very expensive designer jacket, “Lunch is on me”

    Tina’s eyes followed of the one hundred dollar bill that had been thrown onto the table before looking up to the redhead with pleading eyes.

    1. Now we have a bigger mess….Brenda has hope that there is a chance with Tina. Tina wants Bette badly but is wondering if she will truly breakup with Emma. Emma is in some self-centered world in which she views Bette as her most adoring fan. And Bette is afraid that someone’s feelings are going to be hurt. News flash…seldom can two people end a relationship without one of the parties being hurt. So, Bette, if you really want to be with Tina, you need to just break up with Emma… just do it. As time goes by it will not get easier.

      Can we move the party fast forward or better, Bette has to break up with Emma ASAP!!!! She will be hurt anyway and B&T are hurting too.

      Emma thinks she was clever to invite Brenda and that stupid bitch still thinks she can pursue Tina.

      The party will be torture for B&T and for us readers.

    5. In last two chapters i really can’t decide is Emma a very narcissistic and absolutely not playing attention on anybody else besides herself, or she just dumb.
      I guess we’ll find out in next updates.

I feel the love.. do do wish Bette would just tell Emma… this my back fire and it seems more cruel to go through with the party pretending especial if she has friends coming..now your bringing Breada back into the mix Jesus. But I see the drama your creating, it a fun read..they all seem to have a touch of Alice in them lol.. Emma so blind but i had a feeling she my be the devil if poked hard enough.. thank you sorry so late reading..
