    Chapter 27, part 1: Love is in the air (morning after and Bette and Tina have…a conversation)

    “Not really…I can think of a few things but only Christina knew the true meaning of it,” Tina answered, shaking inside and suddenly feeling an overwhelming desire to get out of the house.

    “So what is your theory?” Bette continued to question Tina and waited anxiously for the answer.

    “Just remember, it’s only what I think,” Tina reminded Bette and then said, slowly letting out the breath she was holding, “I think that maybe Christina knew that it would be hard for the two of you to be together because she already had family and a child on the way but she wanted you to be happy. So she prayed for you to find somebody that would love you as much as she did and that you needed to open your heart to that love so you would be able to love again.”

    Tina knew that this was probably the wrong explanation but she couldn’t stop herself from being a little selfish and trying to tell Bette again that she loves her and would wait forever for Bette to open her heart up.

    Bette averted her eyes from Tina’s face and stared back at the miniature. Finally, she held it close to her chest, got off the bed and slowly walked towards the open window.

    Tina felt another wave of panic getting to her. She closed her eyes and massaged her temples, trying to get rid of this unsettling feeling and fight a migraine that was settling in her left lobe. ‘Me and my big mouth,’ she thought bitterly. ‘Now I did it…I totally pushed her away. She thinks that I’m some kind of a maniac, preying on her day and night.’

    Tina opened her eyes and prepared herself for any response from Bette who was still standing quietly near the window. Finally Bette turned around and asked, “Will you still love me tomorrow and the day after?”

    Tina’s heart was racing, this time from the surge of hope that enveloped her body. Her voice betrayed her and she couldn’t utter a word so she quickly nodded her head several times in response. Knowing that it wasn’t enough, she jumped off the bed and rushed to Bette.

    Tina gently took Bette’s face into her hands and finally found her voice, “I will always love you. I want you to be my first, last and forever.” And with that she softly kissed Bette’s lips and hugged her tight. ‘And I never wanna let you go,’ Tina added mentally, closing her eyes with a soft sigh.

    3. Thank you B&TF for posting another chapter. I know you have a lot of other writing to do, but I really do love this story and look forward to your updates. I particularly loved the way you wrote Bette and Tina shyly feeling their way toward each other. You could really feel Tina wanting to rush forward and declare her love for Bette, but pulling back so she wouldn’t frighten Bette. And you couls also feel Bette’s guilt…she loved Christina, but she feels that same love now toward Tina…and she doesn’t quite know how to handle it. Well written and I’ll be here whenever you can post the next chapter.

    4. B&TF- I’m not one who comments often but I LOVE this story. You are doing a great job with it and my eyes light up when I see that you’ve updated it so please keep it up. I can’t wait to see what happens and if Bette chooses to stay in the future with Tina. I’m nervous about what will happen when Alice lets everyone know what she found out on her trip. Maybe this will somehow show that the meaning of the inscription on the minature is that Tina is just like Christina and therefore the one to be ready for.

Well, as you may remember I had enjoyed your previous chapter very very much as I thought it was incredibly enthralling, but… Well, I don’t think this is going to come as a big surprise to you : I have loved this one as well… As for comments, I must confess that even though I was among those who left you a few words last time I am as guilty as everybody else for I had not commented on the previous 2 chapters, I believe ( mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa ! )… The thing is I’ve been having very very little time to read fic lately ( and yet, I love all your stories and I had not read this one when you originally posted it so this is even more thrilling for me ), so when I do catch up on my reading I usually read 2 or 3 chapters in a row and I only a comment on the latest one, thinking you might not go back and read “old” comments… Anyway, my point is, so far, there isn’t a chapter in this story that I found boring or even just so-so… I have enjoyed every single minute of reading and, trust me, there aren’t many fics out there I can say the same thing about… I can’t wait to see what’s coming !     14. Hey BT&F.. I love this story, in fact all your stories. This one is quite interesting.. it is never easy to write a sci-fi love story especially the storyline of time travel and trying to connect the lives of the characters of their past and present lives, creating one storyline that is believable.. You pulled this off brilliantly. It will be interesting to see how you will resolve the complicated lives of our favourite couple. I already read the original version, and so looking forward to your next update.. Thank you.

And I must say that your details about archives searching has been everything but boring. I found it very interesting, especially since it’s related to what you do. I love the way this story is going and I’m impressed by your mind’s engineering! Great stuff there! So Bette “wants to fall in love” with Tina? I thought she was already in love with her… But I guess it’s all very complicated with Christina and everything, and that she will confess her love in time… Finally, I wanted to say that I totally understand what you mean about “needing” the comments. I agree that it’s generally not the number of viewers that makes my day but the comments on my story. It’s important to me to know what the readers think. So I love the poem and I can only agree with every word! Please don’t give up nor slow down with this story, I love it and want to see it continue towards its resolution. Please, please, please! I love this story and am so so happy that you are continuing with it again. I can’t wait till you reach the part of the story you stopped at initially so that I can know what happens next. Please continue to post soon and do it often kay, coz I just cant wait to read more, this story is like one of my first Tibette fanfic loves hehe mwahh :)
