    Chapter 62: Lingering feelings and hidden desires (Tina continues to search for clues and Bette is pondering the effects of her time travel)

    The next morning couldn’t come fast enough. Tina couldn’t sleep but not because of her dreams and nightmares. She was too anxious and too excited to rest peacefully, knowing that the library might reveal a few things about Bette and what is happening in her past. After tossing and turning for a few hours, Tina finally got up and went to the kitchen for a glass of water. She kept the light off, guided by the dim light in the corridors. The dark figure rose from the shadows of the kitchen unexpectedly and Tina gasped loudly.

    “Sorry, Tina, I didn’t man to scare you,” Alice said apologetically, turning kitchen lights on. “Can’t sleep?”  

    “Oh God, I thought I was seeing ghosts,” Tina leaned against the kitchen counter, trying to calm her fast-beating heart. “Yeah, I can’t sleep. If I sleep I dream and my dreams are not sweet usually. All my fears and doubts are coming back if I sleep. What about you?”

    “I was worried,” Alice shrugged. “I miss Bette and I’m worried about her being back in the past all alone. I wish Professor Kroll would call me to discuss the time portal. I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out how long it will stay open.”

    Tina sighed, poured herself a glass of water and sat down at the table, “Me too. I know she’ll be okay there. After all, this is her time and she’s with her family but I can’t help it but want her here with me, with all of us. I feel with all my heart that she belongs here. She belongs with me. And I worry that she might not want to come back.”

    Alice patted Tina on her back and smiled, “This is the least of my worries. I know in my heart that Bette will come back to you. I saw her with Christina. I saw her with you. I have no doubt she will come back because she loves you more. She loves you for real. Time portal on the other hand, poses the problem we can’t control.”

    1. I have really enjoyed this long complex adventure of our favorite lesbians. There are missing chapters between Chapter 62 and Chapter 67. What happened to the chapters? Can you re-post them? Please help!
