Dana groaned angrily, How am I supposed to see anything?

Why are you so upset? Whats wrong? Alice asked, only poking the top of her head out of the covers.

Alice pulled the covers down, Did you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

Dana shook her head, Its nothing. Go back to bed. She grabbed her bag and racket and walked out of the apartment. She was mad at herself, for taking everything out on Alice, but she couldnt handle this right now. She was halfway down the stairs when her phone rang. She cursed again when she saw it was Alice. What? she barked as she answered it.

You forgot something.

Be right there. Dana stomped up the stairs and back into the apartment. She stood in the doorway, What?

Alice was sitting cross legged at the edge of the bed, I just wanted to sayI love you and Ill miss you and Im sorry if I upset you this morning.

Dana smiled and crawled beside Alice, I love you, too. She wrapped her arms around Alices waist, And Im more sorry. Im uh tired and stressed outabout tennis. I um have to do really well.

I thought you had to go, she remarked.

I suppose I can leave in a few minutes. She kissed Alices neck, I hope I didnt ruin your day.

Alice walked into the Planet, looking a little haggard. Her hair was sticking out in all directions.

Bette looked at her watch and smiled, Al, this is the first time in ten years that youve been on time. What did you do? Just show up after an entire night full of ***** or roll out of bed and not bother to even get ready?
