Dana opened her eyes, a small bright light shining in her face. She groaned and tried to sit up. A young man in his early 20s in a white jacket smiled, Glad to see you feeling better Ms. Fairbanks. Im Dr. Steven Eitzen.

Dr. Eitzen helped her sit up before shaking her hand.

What happened?

Oh, Im sorry. You had fainted. Your friend, Ms. Perkins, found me walking around with the stethoscope around my neck and guessed I was a doctor. She went to get you some juice and cookies.

Arent you kind of young to be a doctor?

Got me there, I just finished my residency. Oh, heres your friend. I should get back to the hospital. Take care.

Lara knelt beside Dana, How are you feeling?

Eh. God, I havent fainted in liketen years or so. Its sooo embarrassing.

Its nothing to be embarrassed about. It happens. Are you still feeling lightheaded?

No. *****, the ceremony!

Dana, you have to relax. Well go back in a little while. Finish your drink and eat some cookies and then well go.

Dana sighed, Alright. I cant believe I fainted.

Dana, do you want to marry Alice?

Yeah, I do. I love her so much, Lara. I want to spend my life with her.

Lara nodded in understanding, Well get you ready then. I wish you happiness, Dana. You and Alice deserve each other.

She smiled at the taller woman, Thanks.

Lara helped Dana back to the church. Dana walked inside first where she was greeted by the big empty expanse. Where is everybody? Her voice echoed throughout the pews. She turned and went back outside.
