“Pizza’s here!” Alice screamed as she scurried towards the door, but not before picking up the scattered bills that Bette let fall to the floor when she was mounted by her newest guest.

Once Tina disentangled herself from Bette’s frame, she joined the gang in the backyard for dinner. When Bette asked her what she was doing there, Tina explained that the guys had been promoted so she trusted them to take over for her while she came to check on Bette after getting the text about having a rough day.
The band got to sit through Bette regaling the story of her personalized creativity assembly with the Krolls for the second time as she told Tina about it. Tina was a sympathetic ear, rubbing Bette’s arm up and down occasionally, cooing compassionate words like “poor baby,” and “I’m so sorry, sweetie” during appropriate moments. Bette was eating it up, playing the Porter pout when she was looking to gain extra sensitivity from the blonde.
Her friends saw right through her, especially Kit. A pause in the conversation allowed Bette to take a healthy drink from the beer bottle she was nursing.
“So, Tina? Plannin’ on another sleepover with my Baby Sis here tonight?” Kit asked playfully.
Nearly dropping the bottle, Bette sprayed the contents of her mouth all over Angus who was sitting across the table from her and his plateful of double patty cheeseburger and tortilla chips.
Eyes shut tightly, Angus blindly reached for the napkins on the table and was quickly assisted by a giggling Kit.
“You’re 2 for 2, two days in a row Little Porter.” He said as he wiped the dripping liquid from his eyelids, enabling him to squint them open. He checked to be sure a third spray wasn’t on his way before getting up to trash his plate.
“Jesus, Kit!” Bette said, mortified that her sister was deliberately attempting to humiliate her and Tina. She wiped her mouth with her own napkin. “Sorry, Ang. I’ll make you another burger. Tina? You don’t have to answer my sister. I think she and Alice have somehow switched bodies since you arrived.”
“Shut it, Little P.” Alice grinned before giving the lead singer a hi-five for asking what everyone else was thinking.

Yes, go to Tina’s place-that fun to read. So Tina booked a hotel room but in San Diego but has to go to Austin, Tx,, wow. I hope she gets to tell Bette what Aron wants before someone else find out and tell her aka Jodi.
Yep still on the road, although I had to travel back to homeland for the funeral of my future mother in law day before yesterday, kind of hard. Your story is such amazing, thanks for the update!!!!!!!!
I must be the luckiest girl ever; two post (awesome!). So what u get back from a great vacation & now Bette suddenly has 2 weeks off (lol) I wonder how else this little tale mimics your real life… So back to the girls- everything is going great with the band an Tina and now maybe they’ll get some much needed alone time in Austin. I can already picture them both in some killer leather boots, tight shirts and cowboy hats (ride ’em cowgirl). Ok I’m just rambling now… Post soon and glad this story is back ;-)

Great update. They are so dang cute together. The gang loved embarrassing them. Hopefully Tina can work out something with Joyce for the contract with Kit but not rule out the band. If anyone can do it Joyce can. Thanks.

Two for Tuesday…excellent! You penned Joyce perfectly in the first chapter. I loved her mocking Jodi and you had me laughing out loud! The group scenes were hilarious…between the girls ragging on Bette and Tina and the two of them being their sexy, adorable selves…it was pure delight. Hope your vacation was rejuvenating. Don’t let that pesky job keep you from posting at will!
