Tina was biting back a shy smile as she watched the events unfold. “It’s okay, Bette.”
“So, Bette. Did Joyce say anything else that we need to go over?” Shane jumped in, steering the conversation back to the band.
A grateful Bette smiled at her unlikely savior.
“Oh yeah, babe, I meant to ask you how your meeting with her went today.” Tina said, watching Bette fix up Angus’s cheeseburger.
Beaming at the term of endearment the blonde had bestowed upon her in front of her friends for the second day in a row, Bette noticed the band sharing looks that indicated how cute they thought it was.
“It went great. Thank you so much for setting that up for me, T.”
Tina swooned. Dana usually called her “T,” but to hear the sexy brunette utter the single letter meant for her made the blonde’s heart flutter. She couldn’t contain her smile.
“I retained her for the band and she went over the contracts with me in depth. Which reminds me guys, don’t forget to sign all those contracts before you leave here tonight. I already told you about her negotiating the agency contract, but she’s also going to be the one to negotiate any label deals that are thrown your way.”
Pulled out of her Bette-tastic reverie when she heard the term “label deals,” the wheels in Tina’s head began spinning with the new information it was processing. Then she remembered the reason why she had come over to Bette’s house in the first place…well, other than to see, hold, and suck face with the gorgeous-looking ad exec.
“Cool.” Carmen commented.
“Yeah, that’s sounds pretty sweet.” Shane added.
I gotta talk to Joyce! Tina smiled to herself. Maybe this wasn’t such a difficult position after all.

The band was rehearsing as Bette and Tina shared a lounger on her back patio. Tina was tucked into the right side of Bette’s body, snuggled with Bette’s arm around her. With her right hand, Bette was playing with the soft golden locks of woman she was cuddling. They were enjoying the mild weather of the evening as they watched the band practice with smiles adorning both of their faces.

Yes, go to Tina’s place-that fun to read. So Tina booked a hotel room but in San Diego but has to go to Austin, Tx,, wow. I hope she gets to tell Bette what Aron wants before someone else find out and tell her aka Jodi.
Yep still on the road, although I had to travel back to homeland for the funeral of my future mother in law day before yesterday, kind of hard. Your story is such amazing, thanks for the update!!!!!!!!
I must be the luckiest girl ever; two post (awesome!). So what u get back from a great vacation & now Bette suddenly has 2 weeks off (lol) I wonder how else this little tale mimics your real life… So back to the girls- everything is going great with the band an Tina and now maybe they’ll get some much needed alone time in Austin. I can already picture them both in some killer leather boots, tight shirts and cowboy hats (ride ’em cowgirl). Ok I’m just rambling now… Post soon and glad this story is back ;-)

Great update. They are so dang cute together. The gang loved embarrassing them. Hopefully Tina can work out something with Joyce for the contract with Kit but not rule out the band. If anyone can do it Joyce can. Thanks.

Two for Tuesday…excellent! You penned Joyce perfectly in the first chapter. I loved her mocking Jodi and you had me laughing out loud! The group scenes were hilarious…between the girls ragging on Bette and Tina and the two of them being their sexy, adorable selves…it was pure delight. Hope your vacation was rejuvenating. Don’t let that pesky job keep you from posting at will!
