    Evan ahs a nightmare, Tina and Evan visits Martin who has a question to ask Tina…

    “Can I live with you and Ms. Bette?” He asks, looking up into her eyes.

    “That is not mine or Bette’s decision to make.” Tina says and softly stokes his head. “But we’ll never leave you, we’ll come and visit you.” Tina says as she pulls up in front of the hospital. Tina got out and helped Evan out, he took her hand and they walked into the hospital, and up to Martins floor. As they are walking towards his room Evan wants to be picked up, he tugs on Tina’s legs. She smiles and lifts him up.

    “You know, you’re a big boy, soon you are too big to be carried around.” Tina says and smiles at him.

    “I don’t want to be big.” He states.

    “Well, you have to.” Tina says as she opens up the door to Martins room. The doctor is in with him. “Oh hey, are you busy, should we come back later?” Tina asks.

    “Hey, no please stay.” Martin says and smiles as he looks at Evan who is clinging to Tina.

    “Well, Martin, you’re doing great and I think you’ll be out of here in the end of the week.” The Doctor says.

    “Really? That’s great.” Martin says.

    Tina smiles and sees that Martin looks a lot better than the other day.

    “Yes, really. Well, I’ll leave you to it. See you later.” The doctor says and leaves the room.

    “So that’s great. You’re going home.” Tina says and smiles.

    “Yeah…” He says and looks at Evan. “Hey, little guy, how are you?” He asks.

    He looks at him and then lays his head down on Tina’s shoulder.

    “Hey, Evan, don’t you want to say hi to your dad?” Tina asks.

    “Hi.” Evan says, still on Tina’s shoulder.

    “Hi.” Martin says again.

    Tina set Evan down, he walks around the room, looking at all the stuff, Martin had gotten the nurses to come in with paper and a pencil, so Evan could draw a little. Evan found that and started scrabbling down boxes and circles and some abstract things.

    Tina took a seat beside Martin’s bed.

    “How’s he doing?” Martin asks.

    “He’s having nightmares, waking up in the middle of the night.” Tina says and looks over at Evan.

    1. I know that Martin is Evan’s dad, but I sure do wish that Bette and Tina was his sole guardians, and Martin be the fatherly figure for him. Love this fic. More Bette and Evan interaction. He still seems alittel afraid or timid around her.

    2. I still have a feeling somethings gonna happen. They need to put that in writing because if they don’t and something happens they are gonna get attatched to that kid and then a relative will come out the woodwork.

    3. Bette love the little fellow,Tina is really more the Motherly figure and Bette the Strong type. Hope Evans and Bette needs to get closer together. They only have 6 days to do so. thanks

    9. Wow, Bette and Tina have come a long way. The way that they are checking in with each other before agreeing to something. It is so nice to see them putting their life back together as lovers and mothers.

    11. I agree that something NEEDS to be put into writing (a living will), and I also believe that there needs to be more bonding between Bette and Evan. The fact that Bette lost her mother when she was young could serve as a GREAT bonding point between Bette and Evan. I know that most (including myself ) would like to see Evan as a part of B&T’s family, but it is alos inprotant for Evan to have a strong and good male role model in his life and Martin could fill that bill. GREAT job Lauren PPS :o)

    15. why do i get the feeling martin is about to run away and give b,t custody of evan. let martin be gone. angelica will have a brother ,this story is socool.
