    Reconciliation Part 29 Finale A

Helena anxiously rode with the children to airport hoping Raquel would not simply allow her leave without talking about their night. They cleared the Brazilian immigration in the private airport while the airplane was being serviced. The pilots and crew went through the flight checklist and notified Helena that they would be boarding and leaving within the next ten minutes.

Helena called again on her cell but this time when she got Raquel’s voicemail she decided to leave a message, “Raquel I really hoped I would see you before I left but it looks like I might miss you. I really wanted to talk to you about last night. That was incredible for me. I felt so close to you. I felt your love. I felt safe. I felt I could just lay in your arms and between your legs and not worry about anything. I know you don’t believe I love you or that I am free to be with you but last night I felt so free with you. I felt your love. I’ve felt it in so many ways. I just want to see you. I hate leaving you a message like this but I do love you. I don’t want last night to be it for us. I think you feel the same. I want to talk to you about the video and about Dylan. I need to move forward and I hope that moving forward is with you. I want you and I love you. Raquel, where the hell are you, dammit?”

Helena began to have a sinking feeling that she was going to leave without telling Raquel how she felt and what last night meant to her. Just as she resolved herself this, there was a sound of drums, horns and whistles approaching them. Every one turned to see what the commotion was. There, coming from the parking lot was Raquel and Paulo leading a small but loud band of early Carnival revelers. Jun and Wilson bounced out of their seat with huge smiles on their face. Helena’s heart smiled and she felt relief that she would not leave without expressing how she felt.

She felt a lump in her throat, a quickening of her pulse and throb between her legs, as Raquel danced a samba before her in high heels, sequenced bikini costume, a golden feathered headdress and glitter all over her body and face. Paulo wore a gold mask with attached wide brimmed swashbuckling-like hat with gold feathers coming from the top. When they reached in front of Helena and the kids, Raquel struck a pose and she threw her hands in the air and shouted “Silêncio!”

    1. SQUIRLY-WHIRLY! (: When I read this ending, I couldn’t help but smile, smile and smile! Wow. Raquel really has such a magnetic personality! Not to mention, I’m such a sucker for women with an accent. Cough. Helena Peabody. (: This ending was romantic, beautiful and everything that I could possibly imagine! Plus, I love the song you used for your summary! (: I think that your other ending is going to break my heart because Helena will have to say farewell to Raquel. Sigh. I completely agree with your convincing bit in your Author’s Note. I think that you will be having to convince me as well why Dylan deserves Helena. There will be a lot of forgiving to do in that ending, and I look forward to seeing how you play the entire thing out. (: This was a very happy-happy-joy-joy kinda ending. I likey. (; See you at the next ending sequence. xoxo

    2. Damn! A samba band. OK, that was clear. So eunichick, which accent do you like better, the Brazilian one or the English one? OK, now that the bags are packed, let’s see how Helena deals with her baggage.

    3. Ooohh that is my new (old) favorite song! I hear what you are saying about Helena…and yeah we don’t know alot about her, but in all honesty we know more about her than Tina and even without a great deal of back story or confessions, it hasn’t been difficult to understand or empathize with how she was feeling. I will definitely say this….”…Nobody has ever made my heart race and skip a beat like this, nobody….I’ve never had anybody ever touch me they way you did. I don’t think I ever want anybody else to try.” is a L of alot different than what she said to Dylan…so I’m anxious to see the alternate ending!!! Hey and don’t forget even in sliding doors, she ended up with the same guy! :) Loving it!! *dancing* PPS

    4. Squirl, I can not breath again, like euni I’m smiling frome earlobe to earlobe doing a little dance even. I don’t know that I will be able to read the other endings. I like this one. You do rock my friend and I thank you for this exquisite story. Md

    5. Whoa! Now that Brazilian is one hot woman! I love her passion and her enthusiasm for life. I wish Helena could have them both – Hmmm. I can’t hide my true colors – although I have grown to love Racquel; I’m still in love with Dylan and Helena. Can’t wait for more and I’m sorry to see the story end.

    6. Well Squirl, this is exactly what I wanted so thank u and no I won’t read the other ending…I don’t think…u created such a wonderful character with Raquel. i absolutely believed in her ability to love helena. thk u.
