Then Bette went to try and make coffee, texting Kit back to agree to a breakfast delivery before logging in to check on her emails from James.
She spent the next hour reviewing the information James sent, giving him small suggestions and guidance but if she was honest with herself, James had everything well under control. She surprised herself by logging off and closing her laptop and was sketching when Kit arrived with breakfast and Bette’s special blend of coffee, which was sorely needed.
They talked softly for almost an hour, Kit marveling at Bette’s calm demeanor, her insight and her obvious concern for Tina.
“You’ve changed Baby Girl. Look at you, all wifed up now and such a lovely sight…” she teased as she put away some extra groceries she had picked up for their week.
She knew Bette would not leave the house to go to the store so she had brought fruit, Pellegrino, hummus and other favorites.
“What do you mean?” Bette had asked, turning to look at Kit as she prepared a bowl of fruit for Tina.
“You’re softer. Don’t take this wrong way but I watched you once leave this very house while Tina was throwing up in the bathroom from morning sickness and now you’re taking time off of work you are so worried about her…” Kit replied and then instantly regretted her directness from the expression on Bette’s face.
“I was horrible, that sounds fucking awful…” Bette said quietly, her face falling.
“Oh Bette, I am so sorry…. Honey, you are perfect and doing all the right things. Don’t listen to me, I am an utter fool. Go. Go check on her and I will finish putting these away. I will leave you a casserole to pop in the oven for dinner, thirty minutes. Ok?”
“Ok. Love you”, and Bette kissed her on the cheek and promised to try not to burn dinner and then retreated to the bedroom to check on Tina.
It was a difficult morning for the blonde.
Waking up was a world of hurt, her knee stiff and sore and her arms aching when she moved them. It took her some time to manage to get into a sitting position and that is where Bette found her when she left Kit in the kitchen.

At least Laurel made the effort of coming back for two episodes which means a Tibette isn’t dead. Cheers for another episode. Long live Tibette✌????
Oh Bette….you have messed in your nest again! You need to stop this immediately….. Why is it that lawyers act really quickly when you don’t want them to but really slowly when time is of the essence? Wow….this is bad…bad
Lovely chapter… Bette really loves Tina a lot. But with all the progress they have made, it looks like they are going to take a step backwards.
As to the announcement? It does not appear that there will be a Tibette in the new series. Two episodes does not make for a reunion arc. And Laurel Holloman has a show in London in July 2020. I believe the filming takes place from early spring to mid fall. So unless she plans on guest appearance in late Season 2, and possibly to sign on as a regular in Season 3, the hope for Tibette is not very high.
Holloman to me is a wonderful actress. But her art work is truly breath taking. She is truly a gifted painter.

Thank you for reading! I am trying to stay hopeful that JB and LH will find a way to bring the couple back together. Right now it feels like it go either way but, for me, the reboot will be a huge disappointment if it ends without a positive arc for these two.

Laurel will be busy now until June with the London Exhibition but there may be a break August onwards for a short period of filming. She is a truly great Artist and much as I love her as Tina with Bette it would be a great loss to the Art world for her to resume an Acting Career.
She does one Exhibition a year usually her last was July 2019 in Paris and before that Milan in April 2018. There has been speculation of 2021 in New York but nothing more.
I await seeing her on screen in Episodes 6 and 7 at least they didn’t kill her off!
Anyway look forward to more escapism with you here!

Thank you SG! I have not looked at the art by Laurel, I guess I didnt realize she was so well known in that capacity. I will have to do some investigating online. And yes, we can always escape here :)
I recommend you look at Laurel’s Website for her Art. It is superb.
I have met and talked to her on a few occasions over the last few years and she is a lovely person.

About Laurel coming in two episodes, it looks like it was a fake news. They removed it from the site after a few hours. It looks like somebody played foul by making us Tibette fans happy, giving us hope and then crush our hearts. I will be so pissed ???? and sad that they would play with our feelings like that. To cruel for words.
I went to her exhibition in Paris last year and it was truly amazing. Going to London for her next exhibition. Looking forward to it.
Thank you BiBi! Did you meet Laurel at the Paris exhibit? I wonder if they released the info of her in the show prematurely or they wanted it to be a surprise? Wasn’t there a rumor that Laurel was in LA before shooting the first episode wrapped up? So much speculation right now.
