Previously From The Sequel Chapter 7 –
Take that chance Porter.
Her mind refreshed and her heart set, the tall brunette circled back to the large display and finally selected a bracelet herself.
“What do you think?” Bette asked her girlfriend as Tina also circled back to where Bette was standing but from the opposite direction. Bette held up the black leather wrapped bracelet for the blonde to inspect. A silver clasp connecting it together.
“I like it. It’s you. Earthy yet an elegant etching. I think you need a matching necklace too babe.” Tina grinned as she clasp the bracelet around Bette’s right wrist. Trying it on her for effect. “Nice.”
“Oh course honey.” Tina reached for a matching design in a necklace style on the display case and held it up for Bette to examine. A silver closure and sterling silver feather pendent. It was striking. Her eyes smiling. “You like?”
“I like everything I see.” Bette answered, smirking and not limiting her likes to the proffered jewelry.
“Behave Porter.” Tina chuckled, knowing Bette was talking more about her than the bracelet and necklace. “Angie’s right behind you and can hear you.”
“If you say so.” Bette leaned forward and placed a small kiss on Tina’s lips.
“You know, feathers represent strength and growth.” Tina stated as she latched the necklace around Bette’s long, lovely neck. It settled within the long oval of Bette’s other necklace that held the two rings she always wore. “As well as hope and freedom.”
“Seems appropriate for me now I guess.” Bette smiled in wonder, touching the silver etched feather with the tips of her fingers. “But babe, how do you know this stuff?”
“I’m in the movie business honey.” Tina rested her hands on the brunette’s chest, admiring the necklace and her beautiful lover. “Of course I know everything about imagery.”
